Even with the price drop, ps3 is still behind a lot compare to the others. You can say it is the lack of games but look at the Wii which has few games but sells the best. Anyway you cut it, it has always been the PRICE that is hurting the ps3.
This gen sucks so far. Im not interestin in gaming as much as i used to be. I havent played video games in about a month. You wonder why, the ps3 being so expensive, 360 breaking, and well wii, dont get my started on that.
it would also be nice to you have some actual good games more than once in a blue moon. But ultimately the ps3 is never going to catch up to the 360 in total sales(it might one or two months) unless it goes under $400 and 360 is never going to catch wii sales, but it could do a lot better if the console was under $300(premium)
also another flaw in sony's start they want to sell the ps3 as a cheap next gen movie player i got news for people who want to buy a next gen player why are you buying a $500 console when you can buy a stand alone hd-dvd player for $238? I know blu-ray has more titles but it doesn't have 2x the titles of hd-dvd
I'm still baffled at the supposed length of a lot of the recently reviewed games. Am I incorrect in saying Lair and Heavenly Sword are both rather short? Blu-Ray what?
the ps3 still the most expensive console.it wont help as long as they keep equal to the competition.u can blame that to ur precious blue ray,i dont think people mind swapping disc.the swapping thing its just a poor excuse from cows trying to feel better for something that it is not giving them as of now epic things

heavenly sword was just stupid its 7 hours long according to ign-uk what the heck... cows though gears of war was short?? so much for all the extra space of blu-ray..

You wont see that until at the very least 2009, and you can quote me on that.
i dont know about 2009, but no way can they do it until 2008 when GTA and MGS4 come out then they might actually be able to affored the losses because the system might sell some.
