No it isn't. It's a mess. Trying to convert it to normal measurements is a nightmare. (1 foot = 30.48 centimeters), (Kilometer = 0.61 miles) lol!! I'll stick with inches, feet and yards. Lot easier to remember. Thank god I finished High School just before they started trying to teach that crap to kids.

What is easier to remember? If we switched to metric your new standard would be "1:1", you would stop doing conversions in your head after a few months and suddenly you would say "I was driving at 140kph" without even thinking about it.
The world has adopted a standard, we are only hurting ourselves by sticking with the Imperial units.
America didn't adobt squat. Why learn something we'll never use. We don't see other countries trying to learn the American measurements. More foreigners come to America then any place else it seems. I'll never waste my time learning the stupid metrics, as I'll never need it.
Do you not ever measure something? Are you not ever planning to weigh yourself, or read a temperature, or measure the height of a Christmas tree for your house? I doubt it. I am completely sure that you will need to measure something in some form.
Would you like to know why other counties dont try to learn empirical/imperial measurements? Because they are inferior to "stupid metrics", as you call them. If you bothered to put aside your apparently extreme biasand you know, bothered to learn the metric system, you would find that it makes a heck of alot more sense, and is a lot easier to use then empirical.
I am an American teenage, however I have been taught in both metric and empirical. There is absolutely no contest in which is the better measurement system.
