SE is also having a sale... may be good if you wanted to play a FF game on your vita.

In the past, the games show up around 6 or 7 in the evening US Central.

No I won't be picking it up. I already own Fez and Proteus and Metrico looks boring as hell. Swapper is also on PC and Dragon's Crown is on PS3. You have given me no reason to buy a Vita.

What other FF games from the sale are worth it?

@lostrib: Shit man, most of the stuff on sale is great. Final Fantasy IV Complete is the best version of the game (so I say go for it), Final Fantasy VI is the worst version of the game, but it's still Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VII and IX need no introduction from me, I'd buy those two, Dissidia 012 is probably great if you are already a series fan, Final Fantasy Tactics is pure boss, and Final Fantasy X I am told is great, but about 10ish hours into it so far myself, I can't say I'm too sold on it just yet.

@SolidGame_basic: Dissidia is amazing. If you get it, get Dissidia 012, not plain old Dissidia, though.

If you buy a Vita, buy no other game for it, and only play P4G, your Vita purchase will have been worth it. So, yes, what I am saying is, buy P4G. Thank me later.

Neither do I, but to be honest, I'd play it on my Vita over the PS3 anyway. JRPGs seem more suited for portables to my mind.

Yeah, I keep getting told the entirety of the first Dissidia is included within 012, so why it's being sold for the same price just boggles my mind. They also have FF Tactics for PSone and FF Tactics: War of the Lions for PSP on sale for the same price. Anyway, since those knuckle heads waited until today to announce Phantom Breaker isn't coming till next week, I used my points card I got for Phantom Breaker for Dissidia 012, FFIX, and Chrono Trigger. I now have both it and FFIV PSone versions, and I know both aren't as good as the originals or their previous portable ports on GBA and DS respectively, but at this point it's a better option than Android ports with god awful touch screen only controls.

Chrono Trigger on the PS Vita (which is a port of the PSOne version) is definitely the worst version available on the market; the DS version is the best way to play it, but hey, if this is the only way for you to experience the game, then go for it. It's still Chrono Trigger.

On the other hand, Final Fantasy IV Complete (the PSP edition) is definitely the best version of the game (better than the SNES, PS1, GBA, NDS, and Wii ports), plus it includes The After Years within it too. I'm unclear on this from your post, did you buy FF4 PS1 or FF4 PSP?

"Mighty good" is a strong term unless you're desperate for something new to play.

@SolidGame_basic: Excellent. Dissidia 012 functionally includes the entirety of the first game within it, so getting the first one is pointless anyway lol. As for FF4, well, it's one of my all time favorite games, so it's easy for me to sell that one :p

Didn't buy FFIV at all. I did play the DS version a bit though and thought it was pretty great. I wouldn't say Chrono Trigger PSone is the worst version… I was foolish enough to buy the Android version of it and FFVI when I first got my Galaxy s3, it's my first smartphone and I was curious.

Touch screen only gaming is just… not good. Not at all. Might get FFIV Complete later this week since it's so cheap. (and War of the Lions)

I'll probably get all the free titles. Why not. Dragon's Crown has been a title I've been wanting for awhile though. Excited for that one.

im finding it a nice supplement to my pc,psp,3ds,wii,ps3 it has a lot of good games now and your daft to dismiss it so lightly, im just waiting for rogue legacy to appear on uk plus as i have it on steam but playing it on a xbox pad sucks, i reckon that game would suit the vita :)
