I'll be perfectly honest, but if you consider the current situation with gaming hardware, it won't be merit that wins this generation but rather which console has more humans buying them between the PS5 or Xbox Series S|X. I don't think it's possible for the manufacturers to discriminate between man and machine regarding who buys the consoles.

So 3.3 million subs out of 106M PS4s, what 5M PS5s and all PCs is good, using your logic.

But 23M and growing at a healthy rate, is bad.
