Anyway, if jack tretton says this model is to focus on PS3 Software and not PS2, but why pack Spiderman? Should they instead pack demos of upcoming PS3 games or somthing?

Didn't Spiderman 3 blow? Hell no. It may have "blown" compared to Spiderman 1 and 2...but it was still way better than most of the other crappy blockbusters that came out. Spiderman 3 will sell a ton and bundling it with the PS3 is a great incentive. Certainly FAR better than when they were bundling CLICK with the PS3.

People already understand that Playstation is synonymous with gaming , but the majority of people are clueless about Blu-ray or that the PS3 even has this capabilty so this will be good way to get the word out. Sony put blu-ray in there for games and movies and they are a multimedia company so this is perfectly understandable. It makes business sense.They are only going to release a limited amount of Spiderman bundles so that EE thing was pretty pointless.(it is already gone anyhow)

No, it was just crap, through and through. The only thing it WAS good for were its action scenes. Its writing, acting, storytelling, structure, EVERYTHING else sucked.

Eddie Brock = Topher Grace? The dude from that 70's show??? Great way to ruin Venom, that's only one problem with the clusterf**k that is Spider-Man 3

honestly i think they should have split it into two movies giving Venom his own. I'm not saying its the greatest movie ever I'm just saying that it wasn't bad.

As for Topher as Eddie I think he was a perfect choice.

Yes but i doubt carnage will ever be put in and I'm glad. Eddie was supposed to be a mirror of Peter. Peter isn't a giant bodybuilder. Him and Topher match up physically.

lol true. But Spiderman 3 should never have been made. It was pretty obvious that not only was the movie rushed, there was no real motivation left in the actors. The only one to set up a decent role was the Sandman, yet he had the worst ending of them all with a horrible plothole. Just for spoilers about the last conversation:

Sandman : "blabla I didn't mean it blabla I'm so sorry"

Peter Parket (lets be honest, he almost never had his mask on in the first place): I forgive you!

sandman goes away with 1 million dollars in cash and nobody seems to care.

Well I thought Spiderman 3 was a dud of a movie however it was the biggest boxoffice movie of the year so.....basically it doesn't matter if you think it was a horrible movie. Millions of other people thought otherwise.

Oh and the logic of including the disk is to push the PS3 as a Bluray player. The Bluray camp was very lazy before Paramount defected over MS $$$$.....they learned their lesson and now seem to know the best way to win the format war is to use the PS3. That means people need to know it's a Bluray player as much as a game player.....best way to do that is include software (which happens to be the biggest movie of the year). It's not that bad of an idea.

Yet he makes a crap movie? Even geniuses screw up. There was a ****load that was wrong with Spider-man 3. Too many to list even on a movie message board, and certainly too many to list on a video games message board. But I'll name one: Why the #%@* didn't the butler say anything to Harry about his dad's death, and instead allowed him to go through two movies' worth of plotting vengeance? Why the #%@* did Sam Raimi think that giving Harry amnesia would be a good idea? Why the #%@* did Sam Raimi think it was a good idea to cheapen Ben's death by making it an accident that Peter could NEVER have prevented (thus negating the lesson on responsibility)?
