no he wasn't....his understudy for years took control of NG:S developement. Igataki said in an interview (just around the time Sigma was announced) that he's been working and will continue to focus his time in the developement of the game people are expecting from him for his home format, the 360.

The ONLY involvement Igataki had with Sigma was the game that Sigma is a remake of. :|

Every developer that worked with all consoles know by now is that the 360 is just the ideal developer friendly hardware. The Xbox 360 is the juggernaut of gaming this gen. I agree with Itagaki and all the other developers that says so.

Itagaki was pro 360 before he ever worked on both. He was overwhelmingly pro-Xbox and was one of the first developers to praise the360 when it came out.

What makes harware better? I mean sure maybe the PS3 COULD have better graphics than the 360 but if no developer can feasibly do that, or even get performance on par with the 360 than it would seem to me that the 360 has "better" hardware.

Also who cares its the games that matter and the PS3 is lacking there.

Itagaki didn't have any involvement with Sigma.

Personally i think if this game sells like hotcakes, then they will port it to the PS3 under a different title, or with add on features etc, to get around the exclusivity clause. After all why would you spend huge amounts of money to get Ninja Gaiden up and running at 60 frames if you were only going to use it for that game. Especially considering its being developed on the same engine a port wouldn't be that difficult in theory.
