In an interview with kotaku Team ninja's 'cough' Tomonobu Itagaki said that Ninja gaiden II on the 360 will be his last Ninja Gaiden as it has reached the point he wanted ninja gaiden to reach.. :'Personally I think we were able to create the definitive 3D game in this series so I'm not planing on making any other games in the series,' Itagaki said through a translator. 'So I hope fans treat this as a swan song for the franchise. 'I think we were able to achieve everything we wanted with this game so anything else would be extraneous.'Furthermore he was asked if he will make a Ninja Gaiden swan song for the PS3 he said ' NO..That is ridiculous...BUT instead i want to make something new -something totally unrelated to my extending franchises'He went on to say he wanted to do something with the pacific war and Clint eastwood..intresting.....Source
