It's almost time! What do YOU think Infamous 2 will get?

it'll be AAAE quality, but gamespot will give it a 8.5 despite "being and great improvement over the first", but it will mistically score lower for some reason...

The game will most likely be great. Don't give a s*** about review scores. They don't mean anything.

I expect a solid 8.0 or 8.5 based on how fun it is, but the wonky camera and AI I noticed in the demo certainly might keep it from a 9.0.

Seeing as the official Infamous 2 thread has no poll regarding what people think the game will get, I figured I might as well give it a shot.

There is a VERY, VERY important and long historical reason there is no poll in many official threads on SW these days (including the Infamous 2 amazing HYPE thread), since you only 700 posts, you probably aren't well aware of SW robust history. The best bet is to just ask everyone to post their Hype in their post, to prevent fanboy manipulation. :P There is a WHOLE LOT To this, but I don't have much time to explain it now. PM me for details on all of this. :P

My Gamespot Hype for this game is 8.5.

Personally, I hope I think the Idea of User Created Missions/Content is fantastic for InFAMOUS 2, but that may not be enough to push Infamous 2 over the AAE hurdle. Looking forward to giving this game a spin though, I did get a Platinum in InFAMOUS 1. :P

AA was the OFFICIAL HYPE(AA WON the POLL by the time the game came out,60 votes for AA, 39 votes for AAA) in this thread and the other InFAMOUS 2 HYPE THREAD, the game scored A sadly, so it's a flop.

I am still sure it can score a 9 or more if Kevin, who always puts fun factor above all other factors, reviews it .... Infamous1 the glitchest game in the world could make it and Infamous 2 can make it ..... easily.

I don't get it though. A horrible game like Saints Row 2 which is buggy, has a horrible story (that ending..), lame humour and horrible world design gets like 8.

I didn't link this thread on purpose, save for some PMs I sent out, but as you can see, the AAA HYPE has gone up considerably. ;)

There is more to this than just ONE FACTION voting a certain way. I already recorded the original score in this thread and posted for posterity. AA still won at the end of the day. Again, InFamous 2 is a flop, but if it's TRUTH you seek, then you can clearly see that AAA, AA, and A votes have gone up. NOT JUST some cow votes. Lemmings, Sheep, Hermits, and Cows have been in this thread and voted since then, not just Cows.

EDIT : LMAO! I just looked at the POLL, where the AAA category was DOWN by 20, then down by 10, now AAA is TIED WITH AA. There isn't enough COWS voting, lmao. This is obvious tampering, but that is too be expected with EVERY EXCLUSIVE game in SW. It's very OBVIOUS, AGAIN, that other factions that ARE NOT COWS or INFAMOUS 2 fans are voting for Maximum ownage right now as we speak, even though the game is out. I'm SOOOOOO Glad I posted the results earlier in this thread. It's odd that you are pointing out the Cow votes, yet even you must realize that AAA category is going up far more rapid than AA or A votes, lol.

I told you and others in that other stickied INFAMOUS 2 thread this same thing, this is ALSO what happened with SOCOM 4, which Had TWO THREADS, and the same people doing the same thing voting for AA and AAA to create a flop, lol. It has been done for so many other games over the last 5 years, I've lost count. I remember it well.

I've already documented and posted much earlier in this thread. There is a whole lot more users voting for AAAE for ownage than there are people voting for AAE or AE trying to escape. AAE used to have AAAE beat by over 20+ votes, lol.

wow 7.5 is just shameful for the hype the fans were giving it. But I agree with the flaws of it as some of them were present in the first infamous. The god awful morality system where your either satan or jesus himself. The melee combat still seems to fail. But i agree that the review was very negative

Yes the morality is really REALLY black and white, but in a game where you are a dude with electrical power and can climb and stuff, being over the top is very suitable IMO.
