It's been 10 Years since Madden NFL was on the PC. Time to bring it back?

I think the real reason it isn't on PC is because they want you to spend that 60 bones on the yearly roster update.......and PC could just mod them in for free....along with mods and real fixes. And I say that as a lover of football. Madden has been stale since NFL 2k5 was released. Rather that fix the game they just killed the competition.

I would love to have NFL Blitz back on the PC. Yay to picking up football players and smashing them on the turf without the "unsportsmanlike like conduct".

I don't care about Madden, but it would be nice to have it on PC for those who do. I want NHL back on PC first and foremost.

I remember playing NHL on the PC too. Looks like they got rid on NHL around the same time they got rid of Madden on the PC. This is what happens when one company has a total monopoly on a League Name franchise.

Meh, I own a PS4 and X1 and I have zero interest in playing Madden. Last time I bought a Madden was back around 99. I bought nfl2k on the dreamcast and it crushed madden. Once ea got exclusive rights, I stopped playing football games.

It can come to pc for fans, but I wouldn't buy it.

For the record I have 0 interest in Madden or sports games, with that said, any game should be welcomed to any platform, it should never have to be stick with this and ignore the other, so I can't agree with your poll OP.

Madden is stale. Bring back Blitz or even Sega sports. Sucks that EA has NFL exclusive, I think other companies could do it better justice. Anyone remember when Madden 64 had first person view? I always thought that was pretty cool feature they done away with.

Sports games are a huge market. Most people in this forum probably dont even watch sports though. If you took the general consensus around here for face value though everyone hates sports games. Like it or not Madden is a top-5 selling game every year. Of course they should bring it back to PC. Now that its using the Frostbite engine I think it has a chance of coming back to PC.

On a sidenote, MS already has a deal with the NFL, maybe they can pull a rabbit outta their hat and bring back NFL2K?

@oflow: CoD is huge on console too, it's pretty much dead on PC, Fifa doesn't sell crazy amounts on PC either and it's bigger game than Madden, there's way bigger sports game audience on consoles

@howmakewood: thats was my initial point in saying thats one reason to buy a console. Also thats the primary reason Madden left the pc market from what I understand. But if its using an easier engine to port now, why not? I'm sure it would sell enough to be viable on pc.

I had no idea. This is kind of messed up on EA's part, and yet another reason the NFL needs to give game licences to any publisher willing to make one.

Really? Where was the NFL then in the when the renewed their contracts with EA for Madden. So, it's somewhat NFL's fault too.

Is there any sport I don't give a single damn about it's american football. It shouldn't even be called football. Football is that sport where you hit a ball with your foot. American football should be called handball. Or tackleball. Or whatever. I'd much rather have some other sports games, such as NHL instead. I have to admit I've barely any interest in that either, though.

MS deal is to only allow streaming services for NFL games as far as I know.

NFL is only popular in the USA . FIFA games on the other hand has a PC port because it's the most popular sport in the world

It's one of the genres where I prefer a controller. Leave it on consoles. I wouldn't play it on the PC if it was available.
