What do you expect when there is the WiiU coming next year?
PS1 had great games into 2000. N64 had Paper Mario in 2001. PS2 had an excellent lineup in 2006. Possibly its best year. PSP has great games going into the Vita's launch. This was an amazing year for the Vita.
Successful consoles do not typically wind down prior to a new hardware release.

Its actually really funny you mention that. In my college apartment my friends have a Wii in addition to my PS3, hooked up to an HDTV. We only use the Wii for netflix, and the occasional round of Mario Kart. Nothing else. I'd use the PS3 for... better netflix, but she is the one with the Netflix account and will only use it on the Wii. So we're stuck watching things in inglorious SD. The PS3 is used for, other things. My one roommate is a gigantic fan of Red Dead and all of the girls in the apartment seem strangely infatuated with the Assassins Creed series.

If they wanted to play them, then they would buy them and they don't. I'm sorry, but sales determine gamers interest in games as much as critical scores does.

The Wii is a complete mess and this is coming from someone who owns one along with a "ps360". I do get enjoyment out of playing mario kart online with my 12yr old daughter though so I guess it's worth it.

The quality is my opinion and there is nothing to argue there. If you don't like my opinion, that's your problem, not mine and I will not argue my opinion with you because I just don't care what you think about my opinion. As for how many units of a game are sold. That is a clear indication of the level of interest in a game. If you disagree, then all I can do is laugh at you, because I am not going to argue facts with you. They don't need me to defend them.
Lineup is garbage, horrible graphics, no multiplats, and no HD. So many better multiplats on PS3/Xbox/PC. Wii owners have missed out on some of the best games of all time.

Nobody knew Blazblue characters yet they still went out in droves and bought it. Nobody knew Skullgirls characters but yet people bought it so that excuse is a lame attempt of an excuse of reasoning that they didn't want to buy it just because it was on the Wii (Which still surpassed Capcom's expectations. I can't wait for Tatsunoko vs Capcom 2 on the WiiU)

Blazblue and TvsC sold similarly. Also for reference, TvsC is much much better than MvsC3.
3rd party, misses a LOT of AAA multi plats and online is garbage, would hate to be stuck with just a Wii. Heil68

I played duke nukem 3d back in 1996 i remember before the full game was even released friend had shareware.
Duke nukem forever had some elements ruined by modern shooters but it's still better than any piece of **** wii game.
