When in truth not only does Live completely DESTROY PSN. It's in a whole nother league PSN does not even compare.

Live gives a full fledged Movies service TV Show and so on all in HD. Take that to the bank Blu-ray machine.

The Fall update just further plants it's foot right up PSN's ASS saying step of who's your DADDY!!!

Anyone who truly claims they can not or does not want to pay about .13cents a day for an online service that will knock your socks off. Then please give up gaming because your not being true to yourself as a gamer.

You do realize that you aren't connecting to microsofts "servers", right? Therefore your gameplay experience relies solely on the "host" of the game. Maybe you should know what you're talking about before making comments :roll:

Yes and it's a ingenuis aproach becuase they new long before this is where things are headed. And MS is a software giant so they will always Destroy Sony when it comes to online.

By 2012 MS will have about 20million payed loyal customers. This mean CHECKMATE for now and future systems all but a small few will surly keep buying the new MS Xbox systems.

Really depends on the games. Some of them run extremely smoothly online like NHL 08, but others are completely unplayable, such as Bomberman Live. For a service that prides itself on it's "live enabled" image, it's strange that a Third Party game runs smoother than a hosted downloadable.

How expensive sumthing is is not dependant on the price alone. It is dependant on the price AND percieved value. So a $30,000 Porsche is cheap but a $50 pencil is not. So IMO, i dont think that XBL is worth the money I pay for it. Its good, but i think it should still be free...I mean it has ads for christ sake -_-

you're also missing the point. xbox live could always be free but because it's such a good service then most people don't mind paying for it. it's all about value for money and i think £40 for 12months of unlimited online gaming is very good value

it's a bit like the ps3, it's more expensive than the competitors but people who want it are prepared to pay for it

i said none of thouse things matter when it comes to playing online. the whole point of playing online, is playing the game ingame, online with no problems. just like psn allows you to do for free. and jus like how live does it, it allows you to play the games online but for a price, that is not needed at all.

2 OUT OF 3 XBOX USERS DISAGREE. What happens is only 40% of X360 fans pay for live. That means there is basically a 2 out of 3 chance my friends even if they buy an X360 aren't going to be online. Secondly it's fine to pay now when the console is hot stuff and new, but what happens five years from now when you aren't playing it that often, but you still want a match on Halo. Oh yeah you didn't pay for it this year. That's what happens. No Halo for you. With PS3 almost everyone is online and I'm not worried about the future. I'm not worried when my friends buy a PS3 if they are going to be online or not. That's the difference $50 a year makes.

"with ps3 almost everyone is online" this is such a false statement, where is the proof of that statement?...according to this months game informer magazine, the online rate for the PS3 is also around 40 percent. And as far as playing halo 5 years from now, i'm sure people will still be able too just like you can still play xbox games on live now, and if you didn't pay for it that year so what that's why you have the option to pay monthly if you want to. I have both a PS3 and a 360, and much rather pay for live because I enjoy it far more than PSN thus making it worth the 50 dollars a year to me, if you or anybody else don't want to pay for it so be it I could care less and thats one less nimrod I run into on live anyway....

Thats why Im having trouble with COD4 online today.I could barely get in one match today...and yes i have great connection....the boards are laggy as hell and Ive played nba 2k8,guitar hero 3,and resiatnce online on my ps3 and not one problem unlike playing gears and cod4 on my 360.and the ps3 community is much better then 360 community since the 360 community is full of small kids with bad mouths and are recist or annoying.

they both have there pros and cons. but the onlything that i sited when i first made this thread was that, the psn, has gottin even better for a free servers, offering things that people have to pay for on live.

psn is no where near a broken service or as bare bones as 360 fans like to put it. and when xmb is unlocked for ingame, there will be no doubt that psn will eat up more of the standers that are on live all for free of charge. and if that does not get xbox people thinking why canr our service be free, i dont know what will. all i ever say is that with psn im doing what online games are post to be doing and that playing the game online, with no problems for free.

I love using all the featureson my 60 gig ps3, i eman the system just buy its self with no ghames justifies a 500 price tag, just because of the things it does its self, free online, web browser that i can actually down load files from, and i can stream media over the wifi, which is built in the ps3. I can get free themes, to make my xmb look so good. blu ray lookks super on my 1080p tv. the ps3 is an all around kick ass system, and i love it. and in that part i didnt even talk about the games. uncjharted hs, r&c, ms,wh, all are kick ass games that are exclusive to ps3, and there all not just fps. warthawk is a blast online and i love it, no lag with 32 people playing is amazing, and when everyone has a headset, damn the games are fun as hell, and i just sit back and say to my self woooow, all this in my ps3 for free. WOOW. thats why i comined sony on what there doing, i adnit sony did get a lil cocky when the ps2 sold over 150 million, so they thought that the 600 price tag would do well, but man u got to give it to them , they have corrected them selfs, and have listened to the consumersx(even though it is taking them a while to get things out)with the ds3, price, ingame xmb, that might be a xmass gift from sony on the 25. they really are listening to us and the devs to get things straight. the ps2 succes really got into sony head and got them thinking they could do anything, but know they know they have to send out quility. psn will be the big thing come next year when home hits, u guys better hope ms takes the live charges away, its bad enuff we pay 20 dollars for cable internet know, but when we have to pay another sevice just to play games online, that ashame, really when it adds nothing to the gameplay part, like never lagging at all, no discn.

You Xbox fans really love to call people names don't you. That's about half the reason I don't have my Xbox anymore right there. The Playstation community is a lot friendlier, helpful and cooler, I got tired of paying to listen to a bunch of swearing, foul mouthed racist kids (kids is meant to describe the mentality not the age). So you aren't offending me by wanting to stay on Live. From your post it looks like you fit right in.
