after spending an hour getting all of the numbers in my research, i found this.

Both the Wii and 360 launched in November, and I compared 360's Nov. 05 - April 06 with Wii's Nov. 06 - April 07.

Average for Wii = 6.99 or ~7 ( 1 AAA )

Average for 360 = 7.84 ( 3 AAA's )

 Now even though the wii has had more market success, its average below A in rating, plus its only AAA is warioware. The 360 had GRAW and Oblivion at this time, and the stats reflect it. 360 games almost averaged AA.

i was torn between mas effect and games.

in the end, i decided that mass effect > earth.

you're comparing a  much hyped console and it's 1 year old library compared to the underdog wii and it's 5 month old library.

what u said is that the 360 has the better library. yes it does. and yes it did have the better library from the get go as well. but 360 was the successor to a system that had great 3rd party support like the xbox. thee wii didnt. thats why the wii didnt get any big third party games to go along for the launch months. also the real dev kits have just now made it to other third party devs, they were mostly using modified gc kits. so the quality wii games will increase in short time. and the sales success will bring more games. so its a combo of both. zelda sold the wii to hardcore gamers who wanted zelda, like nintendo 1st party games, and were interested in the motion sensing. and non gamers like wii sports, rayman, and the other mini games. the minor games sold to the larger demographic. the wii will pick up more sales when the other games come out as well.

first point still stands.  devs supported the 360 before launch. wii was an after thought.

I don't see how that makes it "offical". 

360 came out more then a year ago and the wii came out than five months ago.Wanderer5
