Samus gets killed by insects when she starts off..... how could a machine gun not finish her?

MC doesn't have any weapons or shieldat all in the beginning of Combat Evolved. Samus always has her plasma cannon.

The Gamespot polls always show Samus>Snake>Master Chief. Though I think that logically, we can realize that Snake wouldn't stand a chance against MC or Samus, simply on virtue of technology.

Insects that build nearly indestructable nests, and can sheer solid steel with their stingers. Or do you mean the beetles, which can tunnel through solid stone at high speeds. At her weakest, either of these would take about a minute straight of attacking to kill her.

But off the record Samus wouldn't even be competition for the Arbiter, let alone MC himself.

To make it fair, let Master Chief and Samus start offon the same ground. MC with a covenent sword and Samus with all her pimped out gear.

Samus charges sho and hits MC.

Samus can survive for a minute and a half submered in a pool of molten lava. I don't think a few specks of lead will do much.
