Let me share my unpopular opinion with the Sheep now before disapointment sets in after the game is released.
I bought a Wii and launch, I picked up all the "hardcore" Nintendo titles they day they came out and there is a reality that I think every Sheep needs to understand, Games that are reviewed for the Wii based on seventh generation standards, which means that graphically its held up to 360 and PS3 games and as Reggie admited when it comes that that aspect Wii does not have the hardware to compete.
So Wii's advantage is its functionality and unique control system, that is its only advantage.
Sitting here and comparing SSB to Halo 3 is simply going to lead to more "GS is teh Bias" threads after the review comes out.
SSB needs to take full advantage of the Wii-Mote and the functionality that this control system offers in order to score an AAA, otherwise its simply another Zelda or Metroid that are nice looking games that are fun but graphically and gameplay wise do not stack up to the other consoles around this gen.

Dude I donk you are looking at this correctly. First of all game reviewers are supposed to rate games based on what the hardware is cabable of, whther GS does this or not means nothing their credibility is shattered. SSBB has amazing framerates and great character models but yes it is really just tapping into what the Wii's graphical capabilities can do. the game looks great irregardless and graphics dont have much to do with how good it is except framerates.
Just because Wii has a steadily evolving control scheme known as motion sensing does not mean they cant use the old school gamepad. what is wrong with that? There are modes in SSBB that use motion sensing, but that doesnt mean we cant use the old style. Besides that even this is somewhat intuitive because you can use so many different pads. There is the horizontal Wiimote, Nunchuk/Wiimote, Classic Controller, GameCube controller and all of them are completely customizeable.
SSBB is a very underused series that works great. Its controls are amazing because you can make your own combos in mid air, its basically what all other fighters try to simulate and thats fluid spontaneous fighting. The game looks great and adds a whole bunch of new gameplay features. After saying that I dont see how you could be right.
