[QUOTE="AvIdGaMeR444"]But you know...I've NEVER seen Halo with this many glitches, or Halo 2. Or GeOW.

Halo 2 Glitches
Gears of War Glitches
I'll give you a chance to retract your statement. But will you even given the choice?
I'm not retracting my statement. I've looked at those glitches before on youtube. Those aren't EVEN RELATIVELY CLOSE to the glitches found in Twilight Princess. What I posted was just a small sampling of the glitches/breaks in TP. My statement still stands.

Wow, just wow. I know there are games out there that have glitches/tricks. But for a videogame, this level of sequence breaking and glitching is just ridiculous. This game was in development a long time and Nintendo didn't even have to worry about voice-acting or better graphics. This game is a total glitchfest and Nintendo needs to be more cautious when making games. This game is less than 9 months old, and has been completely sequence broken and has TONS of glitches. I mean, a ridiculous amount.
What is it about in-house Nintendo games that end up being great, but also end up being seqence-broken to death. Look at Metroid Prime. Yeah, Retro Studios is 2nd party, but itwas anin-house projectcollaborating with Nintendo. That game ended up being completely sequence-broken. Same with Ocarina of Time. Same with SM64. Now Super Paper Mario glitches are emerging, BIG ones.
I know all games have glitches of some sort in them. But Nintendo made games seem to have HUGE GAME BREAKING glitches in them. People who say Nintendo makes glitch-free games are so wrong. They have made some of the glitchiest games ever. Twilight Princess can probably be beaten in less than 4 hours now. That is how broken this game is. Now I DARE ANY OF YOU to name me a non-Nintendo made game (or Retro Studios) that has this many sequence breaks and glitches that allow you to skip one third of the game. I doubt I'll have any good answers...

Beaten in 4 hours? Hmm, how about the fact that shards of the mirror are missing? I would think that would cause a problem. Also, the lack of certain dungeon items would probably make it impossible to beat the last few dungeons. Then again, that doesn't even take into consideration the beginning of the game which has a good amount of dungeons before you ever start collecting mirror shards.
As for the glitches...who cares.
The fastest speedrun for Twilight Princess playing the game normally with barely any glitches/tricks is 5:36. This was BEFORE half of Snowpeak Ruins and all of Temple of Time can be skipped. Also, ever since that speedrun, there have been many othersmalltime-saving tricks found in the game. I may have exaggerated though. Maybe 4:30 is more reasonable...
Imagine a 70 hour game having 2 glitches. Wow how unforgivable.
I've played through TP twice, never experiencing any glitches at all.

Lol, your argument never stood in the first place. You said TP is "FULL" of glitches and you showed us 2. It doesn't matter anyway, barely anyone knows of the glitches or use them; unlike Gears, Zelda doesn't have glitches you can just run into. In Zelda you have to look for them, in games like Gears you can just come accross them.Imagine a 70 hour game having 2 glitches. Wow how unforgivable.

70 hour? rofl. I beat it in half the time on my first go with everything bar 2 heart pieces. With it's difficulty it's easy to do TP 100% in under 30 hours. And i'm not talking about speed running.
And OoT had millions of glitches but does that stop it from being one of the best games ever? Not really and people don't notice these glitches unless they really want to.

If you do everthing in the game (fishing, collecting all the Poes, caollecting all the bugs, ect.) is is a 70 hour game. I beat it in 20 hours with just doing the main quest.[QUOTE="Riviera_Phantom"][QUOTE="nintendofreak_2"]Imagine a 70 hour game having 2 glitches. Wow how unforgivable.

I beat it in 20 hours with just doing the main quest.I tried doing that, but there's no sense of satisfaction in looking through every last part of the map for bugs or poes that you dont really get rewarded for with anything special. Same with the main quest, i loved it... but there wasnt really any challenge and when i beat it i wasnt as satisfied. It was like i was still waiting for the game to get hard, but enjoying it in the meantime.
It's a very good game but they should have really considered making an 'Expert' or 'Legend' mode or w/e for it.
The problem with the Zelda series is, you can't add in different modes. The Zelda series isn't known about fighting, but rather figuring out what to do. You can't increase the difficulty of the puzzles and making the enemies do more damage wouldn't really do anything either.I tried doing that, but there's no sense of satisfaction in looking through every last part of the map for bugs or poes that you dont really get rewarded for with anything special. A few days ago you made a thread saying the gamcube version of TP is better because there is a glitch that lets you speedrun better and now you're saying TP is a total glitchfest and therefore a worse game. My suggestion is to wait at least a week between making stupid contraadictory topics becuase people probably won't remember.taidhgHe thinks it's good flamebait material, but he is obviously mistaken.

What he said a few days ago:
Yeah, yeah, yeah...glitches are evil. Whatever.
AvIdGaMeR444
He seems to be of a different opinion today.
So are many games. Many of them are also very hard to pull off... not only that, it seems these glitches are like the ones in Super Metroid (but not as great) because they improve the re-playability of that game by allowing speed runners options in pulling off faster times.foxhound_fox
I may just have to get the GC version of Twilight Princess if I want the best speed run version of it.If I do speed run the Wii version in seven hours,it will seem like nothing to the new GC version speed runs.
Speaking of which, Nintendo Power says that Ganon can be fought with the fishing rod.~~~~WikipedianIt makes him stop attacking, you could still lose if you were bad enough.

That's not a glitch though... it's just a joke... Making refrence to other glitches... (The shovel and Bottle reflection fo OoT)
Yes, I have a split personality and am the king of hypocrisy. Anyone who has read at least 10 of my threads would know this by now. I make fun of Wii sometimes. I make fun of PS3 sometimes. I make fun of 360 sometimes. I've said that GeOW has terrible grey and brown graphics in one post...then in another I said it has the best console graphics ever. I never take this forum too seriously (or try not too) and therefore, can't even be truthful half of the time. My threads are flamebait. I own a Wii and enjoy it. People still think I hate the Wii though
Anyone who thinks I believe half of what I'm typing...please just realize I'm BSing on this forum 90% of the time for the hell of it. Yeah, I'm an ass, but I don't really care.
