It's perfectly ok to spend $130 on Halo 3 Legendary..but not $90 on GTA IV SE?

Really? I went to everyone in the area after it was announced and not a single one would take it. I definitley remember as my fiance wanted it for xmas, and was pretty pissed no one else would take them

I can't beleave MS said it's a replica and you can't use it , first there no such thing as Halo outside of the Videogame so theres no Authentic version, when you buy a replica jersey from sports it's got painted nmbers instead of stiched but you can still wear it, calling this a replica is false advertisment.

I think you are 1st person on system wars who has stated that Halo 3 Legendary is overpriced. I guess people want the Master Chief helmet that much, that most people think $130 is reasonable.

As most people know by now, I'm on here a lot.  I don't recall those threads.  I guess I overlooked them.  I mean, I can only tread through so many Halo 3 threads in a day b4 I feel like I have to pull my hair out.  So many threads are made.

Becuase Halo 2's LE was the owange with the extra features and DVD interview and etc. It was well worth my money. Besides, having a face of MC by my desk at the office...how cool is that.hoankiemdinh

Well actually the helmet looks pretty well done from what Ive seen and it holds your games on the inside so its got a purpose other than just being there.  Though like I said anyone arguing over the price of any special edition is stupid.  Its for fans and thats all, if you dont want to buy it then dont. 

I think the only time I have paid more for pre-ordering a game is when I got Zelda: Wind Waker, I got a copy of Ocarina of Time Master Quest as well as a copy of the Zelda Collectors Edition for an extra 30 dollars or something like that, pretty good considering you get a number of great games to play, and the Master Quest version of OoT was really worth it cause its hard as hell. Really I guess its only worth as much as you are willing to pay for it, I dont see how a plastic helmet is actually worth anything, it costs like 60 cents to make a piece of plastic and then a few bucks to paint it a few times on a machine that does it for you or by a low paid worker in another country. You do realise that plastic has a really low value and almost no return, you would be lucky that the helmet would actually be worth 5 cents at the garbage dump. I can buy a few games for 130 dollars so I really dont understand why you would need some plastic and a DVD on the making of the game, seems like a waste, no more then I dont understand why anyone would want a bunch of cheap low grade stuff from the GTA SE collection.

Games are expensive enough, that crap should be sold separately.  A duffle bag, a key chain?  Those type of 'prizes' are given away on radio shows.  I'm surprised they didn't throw in a coffee mug.

imo noth are a rip-off here in Australia ... ( where its like $200 + for Halo 3 legendary edition )

   However remmeber your still able to buy Halo 3 for $60 or the CE for $70 so its simply an additional choice ...

   and remember GTA IV reg edition is only $60 so thats okay aswell ...
