When I talk to other gamers(in real life rather than in System Wars) most of them agree that when they think of Microsoft's 360, they think "Halo" but when mentioning "Sony" we think of franchises like God of War, Ratchet, Jak, GT, Final Fantasy, MGS and Tekken. Microsoft needs to spend the extra cash and get some diverse franchises and RPG's going instead of spending billions on Halo to keep the system running. Once Crysis and better shooters come out, Halo wont have that impact as it once did when it was the only decent shooter back in the day. Also Please dont mention Resident Evil 5, its coming to the PS3 also.

I see faults in them too, but having too few games is certainly not the problem of the 360. Heck look at my GS. There are plenty of games. BTW, MS is not spending "billions" on the Halo franchise. LOL....are you serious...I am not defending the fanboyish comment by the TC but give me a break. DMC...maybe, it sold at best 2 million so it was far from a game that every Sony fan purchased and Ace Combat had lost most of its fanbase after the fifth installment...The creator fo Katamari is making a new game for the PS3, and VF has always been a SEGA system game. It just had a temp. home when the PS2 killed the dreamcast and RE: 4 was exclusive for GC for over a year.

Heck I think it was worse when the PS1 moved to the PS2 and lost Tomb Raider, RE ( GC exclusive for a time), Spyro, Crash and other exclusvies to the Xbox and GC.

Alan Wake, Huxley, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Splinter Cell 5, PGR4, Call of Duty 4, Lost Odyessy, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Fable 2, Gears of War 2 (yes it's coming, just wait for the TGC for something official) Virtua Fighter 5 (with online and better visuals than the PS3 version), Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway, MGS4(that's right, it'll happen), Ninja Gaiden 2 and let's not forget that the 360 is the main console that EA (as well as other 3rd party companies) focuses on first and then ports the titles over to the PS3. That only means that multiplats will continue to follow the path they've been in since the PS3 launch where the 360 version is NOT ONLY BETTER LOOKING, but also sells far more copies.

Even if they are not 100% guarenteed, they will most likely appear on PS3 first wich makes it a huge advantage for Sony and for the gamers because some people just can't wait for FFXIII and MGS4.

I think halo3 is only bring brought up so much because sony has YET to create a game that even matches it, 5 years later....

if halo3 was the only game worth anything, the attach ratios of the 360 wouldn't be better than the ps3..
