It's shame that a game as amazing as Uncharted just WON'T sell well on the PS3.

It doesn't matter how amazing this game is,(IMO it WILL be amazing)it just won't sell well on the PS3. I really don't understand what Naughty Dog was thinking when they decided to make this game exclusive to the PS3 format. If we've learned anything thus far in the current generation, software just sells like crazy on the xbox360. It's turning out to be a cash cow for developers both first and third party alike.

Whatever the reason, the PS3 thus far, has proven to be a disaster in regards to saftware sales. If this same game was released on the xbox360 it would have been a garanteed 2 million+ seller in the United States alone. It will do decent on the PS3 but nothing like it could have been.

This game deserved to sell, this game deserved to sell systems because platformers in particular was lacking throughout all 3 systems it was released for and this game deserves and sequel.

Lair didn't sell... Heavenly Sword didn't sell... I doubt R&C sells well... and this probably won't sell either... It's not that they're "bad" games (well atleast some of em.. ), it's that they aren't well known system sellers. Halo is lighting up the charts right now and it seems almost anything released on the 360 is garaunteed atleast 500K+ The wii's hardware is selling like crazy and I'm sure mario will clear 2 mil before the end of the year. However I don't see alot of system selling software on the PS3. If the PS3 sells well this holiday season, I honestly believe it'll be because people want a cheap bluray player.Just my 2 cents..OhSnapitz

The PS3 has a userbase of 5 or so million; Resistance itself sold about 2 million, while Motorstorm is not too far off. There are so MANY Ps3 owners awaiting this game, I don't think it'll flop in terms of sales. It might be a slow climb to the top, but within a year or so, maybe earlier, it'll have a spot on PS3's Greatest Hits line, guarantee. If it flops in terms of scores, it might deter a fair few PS3 owners from buying it, like Lair, but as of now, I have a measure of faith in this game.Cerberus_Legion

Resistance may have sold 2 million WORLD WIDE but most high-profile xbox360 games sell 1 - 2 million in the United States alone. Cows that even try to say that the PS3 sells a lot of software are making themselves look like fools of the highest order! My entire point of making this thread is that if this game was released on the xbox360 instead it would have sold at least 2 million units more than it will on the PS3. Third party developers that make exclusives for the PS3 are just looking to go bankrupt.
