Yeah but I only made that mistake like twice. Its annoying though because you can combine 2 of the same weapon and make a more powerful version but the same logic doesn't apply with each weapon. I am on the final boss, gave it one try, got annililated by his ultimate attack and haven't tried since lol.

I wouldn't mind. Its a solid game (perhaps one of my favourites ever) but some more polish and additions would never hurt. Of course this is SE we're talking about which means they'll ruin it. Anyway, yeah, he is simply way too powerful. Vagrant Story is such a difficult game. Its so hard to recommend to anybody because its discouraging to go in a boss battle and actually have no chance of winning.

I think the difficulty and mood are similar but as far as I know Demon Souls isn't a political story. (or even have a story????) VS however is really what I loved about the PS1 era, the ability to blend cinematics and gameplay into a compelling experience. The game is also simply way to hard to get into though, kinda like its seems to be with Demon Souls. If youtake the ffort and have the dedication it will reward you but if not then you will get fustrated. Once I was able to really understand the mechancs of vagrant story the game was easy, the problem is it took me damn well half to two thirds of the game to really grasp everything. I just don't see the average person having that kind of patience which is why I see demon souls falling into a similar fate as Vagrant Stroy. Those who play it will love it but the majority will find it too fustrating to play. I have a friend who has trouble handling The World Ends With You. Vagrant Story would be a viscious beating :lol:

I started this gen with Nintendo DS Lite, then 360, then PS3 and soon PSP Go.

I've had access to a 360 for a long long time. and i heavily favored it. but since i've had more and more playtime and experience with PS3.

PS3 is my favorite for this gen. and PSP Go (i like the design and portability, yeah i too am not crazy about the price) will be a perfect complement.

and yes i've played the Wii, and it's ok. NOT abysmal. if you take the games for what they are (third party specifically), and the great Nintendo games are. the only reason i've ultimately turned down the Wii for the remainder of this generation.

my home console playing is utterly dominated by the PS3, I know the minute (if they) announce Mass Effect 1 & 2 for PS3, I'll have no need for the 360. (I love Gears but i can live without it.). Take a look at my wishlist for PS3 games and it's HUGE. no way will i have time devote to a Wii

and i have the two best handhelds on the market. PSP and DS.

in short. i vote Cow. used to be Lemming. while in the Chimeran guise.

I'd like to think i'm not a fanboy. I won't blast someone else favorite console. but i am definently a fan of the Playstation 3. and the Playstation brand as a whole.

I always thought "manticore" required that you play every system. In that light, "chimera" sounds like a good name for someone playing more than one but less than all.

Anyway, to answer the question, I'm a consolite. Mostly PS3, a little Wii, and I'll pick something up on the 360 if it's exclusive or if the PS3 release was botched beyond recognition. Handheld, it's mostly PSP with some DS. I also have a gaming PC, but... meh. Lastly, there are a handful of games on my Mac, and I do have an iPod touch laying around if any App Store games interest me.

In other words, you name it, I can play it.

I don't like the Wii, DS or early SEGA consoles (Master System, Genesis). What does that make me?

I own: PC, PS, PS2 Fat, PS2 Slim, PSP Slim, NES, SNES, N64, Wii (used as GC), GB, DSL, Xbox 360, Dreamcast and Saturn. I want to get a Xbox.

My favourite games include: Shadow of the Colossus, Shadow Complex, Super Metroid, Symphony of the Night, Curse of Darkness, Doom I & II, Age of Empires II, Mirror's Edge, Devil May Cry 1 & 3, Beatmania IIDX StyIe 11-15, Dead Rising, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Super Mario RPG, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, DJ MAX Portable 1 & 2, Mass Effect, Timesplitters 2 and FP, Forza Motorsport 2, Twisted Metal 2 & Black, Syphon Filter 1 & 2 & 3 and Driver 1 & 2.

I still don't know what I am... and wouldn't consider myself a "manticore," since I don't like all consoles.
