u might as well get a ps3 with basically 99% identical multiplats AND actual exclusives...without waiting forever for themcampzor
I have a PS3...and I'm tired of the watered down versions. Some games aren't even close man. Hell Bioshock 2 on PS3 is miles worse than even Bioshock 1 on 360. Don't kid yourself. 99% of games are better on 360 too. It's ridiculous. Even when a big game releases a year later on PS3 it isn't even as good. I'll keep my PS3 for exclusives because they obviously beat the dog stuff out of 360's, but that really isn't very many games when compared to multi-plats. I feel cheated nearly everytime a new "AAA" game releases. I've had both, so I can compare honestly... The difference is undeniable and the screens shots or even vids do not do the differences justice. Some games are close, too many big games aren't even close, and very rarely are they equals. It is annoyingly obvious in person.
I just don't like gaming on PC.Good for those who do because you guys get some sweet ass visuals, but it's not for me.

Some do not. When several aspects are clearly beaten...to me that's not close. I didn't play Dragon Age, but I'll take your word for it. I do believe I remember hearing that was because the 360 version was compressed to hell do to storage limits or something.

Sitting 2 feet away from the screen on this chair I just fappedon using my dated pcwith a mouse and keyboard all the while missing the best exclusives is just not my idea of good gaming.
first off, i'm playing my PC from a sofa (with wireless KB+M), using my HDTV as a screen. second, PC has the best exclusives (and best multiplats).
DON'T, its definitely not worth it at this point. Seeing as Microsoft is redirecting all of their first party developments to Kinect, Halo, andGears. You might as well buy a PS3 and have both a wide variety of first party games as well as multi plats.

I will agree with you about M$... They are why I sold my 360. I lost faith in them as a gaming company, but as stated it will mainly be for the multi-plats. I simply enjoy the prime versions and having experienced that it sucks taking a step backwards. There will certainly be good exclusives on 360 as well. I really enjoyed 2010's. Gears 3 and Forza 4 should be the best games of their genre's on any console too. There is also Cretek's Kingdoms and the Halo CE re-make. I'm damn tired of the same old Halo however. It needs to be remade to become fresh and exciting again to me. I think I'll support both this gen and chose to stay with only the winner in my eyes for next gen.

Then you have a much nicer set-up for pc than I do. Congrats! Feel free to name some good exclusives. I'm not into WoW type games.
I think I'll re-buy a 360 if they do a Gears 3 bundle and price it right. I'll just hold off on all multi-plats until then. Killzone, Socom, and Infamous are plenty until that time anyway.

all RTSs (Starcraft 2, Civilization 5, Supreme Commander, World In Conflict, Company Of Heroes... you name it.)
Crysis, Stalker, everything from Valve, upcoming Diablo 3 (yeah, it might come out on consoles later, but playing it with gamepad...) just to name some.
but i think this thread was more about PS3 vs 360. i also like console exclusives, so i'd buy PS3 instead of 360.

Dragon Age LOOKED better on PS3, SLIGHTLY. That's it. Performance wise, the 360 version ran fine whereas the PS3 version had framerate issues. Why GS gave the PS3 version .5 higher is beyond me.I am kinda sitting on the fence atm about getting myself a 2nd 360 or getting a ps3 because I like KZ, LBP,UC, HR, R&C but my 360 is making some loud noises and I'd like to get the slim so I'm thinking of getting another and my HDD is almost full too and honestly I have had more enjoyement out of fable 2 than i did out of all those games combined and then there are plenty of other exclusives I love far more on the 360. So basically I think even this late in the gen there is always a reason to pick up any of the consoles honestly.

I love both, but Gears is better in every way expectfor graphics(we'll see for 3's), story, and characters. It's more fun, the gameplay is better, animations are better, sound is fairly equal(neither is too good there), better guns/weapons, uncomparably better violence, and the multi-player is VASTLY superior even in a less than fair state. Servers will make Gears online unbelievable.
lol, not for multiplats. Thats no good reason to get one.
Though if someone was thinking of getting a cheap used 360 and investing in some of their older titles they missed out, i wouldn't blame them. Thats really the only reason to get a 360 at the moment, though.

Hell naw. Animation in Uncharted are better than what i've seen of Gears fun is subjective (meaning it depends on the person) guns/weapons argument makes no sense (Uncharted has more realistic setting for weaponry, Gears does not) violence does not make a game better (in fact, such extremes like Gears has is a turn off for some gamers like myself) Multi-player has been praised for Uncharted, so I really doubt its "vastly", I wouldn't doubt it being better, but not as bad as you claim. Gameplay is also subjective, as Uncharted also offers a more varied experienceu might as well get a ps3 with basically 99% identical multiplats AND actual exclusives...without waiting forever for themcampzorIf he doesn't have a 360 at this point, does that make all the games that have come out for it disappear? If he gets a 360 he gets the slightly superior Multi from time to time, and a larger library of games, that he hasn't played yet.

I've spent plenty of time with each and with Uncharted being the single best franchise on the only console I own I think I can honestly say with EXPERIENCE what I find to be correct. Uncharted is pretty choppy too bro. Gears is much smoother and better done. Now Killzone is amazing at times, but the hit detection can be absolutely horrible.
The differences between the multiplats are negligible at best. And even if there is a difference, you usually have to have two TVs side by side and look at them up close to notice a difference. Even if this is important though, it seems like in the past year the PS3 has greatly caught up and is getting about the same amount of games being rated superior graphically and performance wise as the 360 is getting. If multiplat comparison is that important fine, but to put it that high on the pecking order of why to buy a certain console over the other seems silly to me. incuensuocha
I notice a clear difference in numerous games(all of which are big titles) and I'm not comparing most side by side. Castlevania is one of the few expectionsfor equal games. PS3 took only one disk too.

choppy...worse animations...you are just plain wrong if thats what you think. I personally do not like Gears of War one bit. I used to own a 360 and played it, but son of a gun it is drab and repetitive, with lackluster characters.
