hasnt died on me and had it since launch and yeah my pc runs the games that i play so im good as long as i can have my counterstrike source fix

Nope, wrong. It's not that they lack the talent, they just don't feel like hassling themselves over the complicated architecture, so they let the EA messups do it instead.

They work hard enough as it is. They don't have the time to mess around with the issues that arise from developing on the console. They can easily develop it for PC and port it to Xbox 360. They can't do that on PS3.

Then why did he port the xbox ver.of HL2 to the 360 then? The PS3 version of the will most likly be the same or better, not sure why anyone wouldthink it be worse. EA is not the best developer, but I'm sure they can port a 3 yearl old game.

So one of the best developers in the world didn't know what they're doing? You heard it from Gabe himself, he didn't want to waste his company's time, not his fault Sony released a console with an architecture that is useless to learn outside of continuing PS3 projects, which would be pointless if since nobody has them.

Face it, if Valve made an exclusive game for the PS3, you'd be all over them, kissing their feet.

Hey did you hear lemmings that the Orange Box, basically an older engine game, uses up to 94% of the 360's abilities whereas they haven't even tapped into the SPUs on the PS3? The don't even know how much of the ps3 they are using. Right now they are optimizing it on the PPU and RSX. Should all gamers except sheep rejoice that we get to play the Orange Box. I agree. I have not experienced Half Life until now, and I am floored! Im playing Orange Box the same way I played Halo 3 the past few weeks. The physics, acting, immersiveness, music, sound effects, textures are all excelent for a game that came out a few years ago. TF 2 and Portal just add to the experience. No one should go without Orange Box - it is one of the best deals Ive ever experienced in over 20 years of gaming... 360 just keeps on trucking with great games!Franco-J

I've been playing this game non-stop for the past day, and I have to say it is down right amazing. The amount of detail that goes into every level is astounding. With Portal and Team Fortress packed in, this is one of the best deals I have ever had with a game purchase. I just figured I would come by and rub it in the Cows faces that the can't play this game until 12/11/07.:lol: Since Valve(the devs)refused to port it to the PS3 and EA took the reins you know they will manage to screw up something in the game. :lol:

actually textures are slightly better in the 360 verison they have more detail close up. the 360 version of the game is the same as the PC all the way up but with a low level of AA im gonna guess 2xAA and a high level of AF either 8 or 16xAF
