ITT: Overpriced DLC.

Okay, I know you inb4'd CoD, but the one I bought for MW2 was mostly down to the poor quality of the maps. I didn't play them at all after a week.

Good expansions? Well in terms of amount of content the New Vegas expansions are quite good. Especially Old World Blues. The writing has the good ol Black Isle charm, voice acting is great, and it's just fun.

Stuff made by the developer tends to be a hell of a lot better. But yeah, mods are great. Heck, I know people who exclusivly play CSS with on mod servers like Surf, gg, jailbreak etc.

Batman AC's DLC Harley quinn's revenge was way overpriced.

10 bucks for a 20 minute mission.

I find most DLCs to be overpriced, but the Mass Effect stuff comes to mind instantly. Other than LOTSB (which is one of the best DLCs this gen imo) the rest doesn't add enough to warrant the purchase. I am hoping the whole Omega DLC is the LOTSB for ME3, because I am really interested in what happened there.

Oh true true.

I don't find a good enough value in most DLC. Bethesda and Bioware get a lot of credit for their DLC options but for each game they always release a lot of DLC and only one is really worth buying.

I haven't bought any Rockstar DLC, so I can't say anything about them. The only DLC this gen, that I can recall had a really good value, was Gearbox with General Knoxx. I got it with the GOTY edition, though, but it was still awesome and would have been worth the purchase. It added a lot of content and was better than the actual game. Something like Dawnguard doesn't do much for $20. Bethesda said they wanted Rockstar sized DLC, they didn't mention at twice cost and at a lower quality :|
