I saw Jeff play Gears of War though and he was brutal..

actually halo is very good. and jeff is a freaking moron. he flops tp. and he screws this review up when bioshock is getting a 97% on gamerankings. jeff=dead to me.xbox360isgr8t

God of War is in fact one of the greatest games ever, and deserves a higher score. Dont try to trick the fanboys.

Jk. Personally, I can't stand Halo. I go to Halo parties all the time, and I'm actually quite good (I don't own an Xbox or a 360, and I don't have it on PC, and I don't have a Live account), but I equate to about a level 25-30 based on the people I play with and how well I do with them. The game is bland, unresponsive, and glitchy like no other. BF2 is a much better game, not to mention anything from the Half-Life universe or UT or Quake.

Jeff's mention of Halo means that Bioshock is NOT an action-packed, twitch shooter the way Halo is. That's all he's saying.

I fear for the future of the world if no one can be bothered to read through 2 web pages of very easy reading.

Thats Kind of how I interpreted it as well. Saying that it doesnt take much talent, and that it could bore the overskilled average halo fan.

When you hover over an enemy (crosshair turns red) the it slows down, giving you moe time to pull the tigger and improving your aim automatically.

Jeff is a good reviewer, just because he's not a fanboy like some of you, his opinions aren't going to be the same. Remember this is just one review, nothing to complain about.Magical_Guy

Errm, did you just call Halo unresponsive and glitchy while praising BF2 in the same paragraph? I love BF2, but it's definitely a lot more glitchy than Halo...

It runs fine on my rig. What I mean by glitchy is that when I shoot someone from 2 feet away in the face with a shotgun on BF2, it kills them EVERY time. Halo is the most frustrating thing to me because I simply can't figure out why in the world the game decides to have you "miss" sometimes, or how sometimes you can shoot someone 4 times in the back of the head with the shotgun just to have them turn around and pop you once and kill you. The sword on Halo is terrible as well. The other guns I don't really have a problem with, though. Just the shotgun and sword.

God of War is in fact one of the greatest games ever, and deserves a higher score. USSJAndrew

yeah...Jeff needs to be fired. He flopped Twilight Princess, gave WarioWare a 9.1 (LOL), and now gives one of the higest rated games in a long time, with a 98% on gamerankings, a 9.0.

Jeff seems to flop everything, on every console. I can almost guarentee that this is because gamespot needs more network traffic.
