Jim Ryan says Sony will have a response to Game Pass and that there is "news to come"

unless they put all their games on PC like Xbox did, it won't be directly competition in my eyes

Sort of feel like this was Microsoft’s plan. I don’t think Sony has deep enough pockets to do what MS does with gamepass. They are going to have to release something inferior or crush themselves trying to replicate it. But that’s just my opinion.

For gamers, it’s great. Sony has a great library of games and if gamers can can get first party titles for a reasonable monthly rate it’s a no brainer.

This reminds me of when Netflix realized they didn’t have to send out discs in the mail anymore.

Kind of funny now Sony is copying everything Microsoft is doing. Guess what? Won’t matter. Xbox is so far ahead of the game.

What’s with all this “copying” talk? Just about every part of gaming has been copied at some point. Last I checked, MS isn’t using HD DVD’s anymore.

Also, MS didn’t invent game subscription services...

If gaming becomes like Subscription only. I think I will quit gaming. I like AAA games and mostly play those since I don’t have all the time in the world for gaming so I choose the best games to play. if gamepass become main stream I think the quality will get impact for sure.

Gamepass is one of a kind service that Sony is trying to copy. Remember when you goons where hyping PSNow and bragging about how much better it was doing in comparison to Gamepass. Its funny how things change and how you all have forgotten. 😂🤣
