Your opinion (not to mention the opinions of anyone else here who isn't a game journalist) doesn't carry nearly as much weight as the Joystiq writer's, since you haven't played Conduit and he has.

As for the controls debate... no, controls don't make the game. BUT seeing as that was one of the reviewer's chief complaints with the title, don't you think that it may actually have an impact in this instance?

Why are people so eager to see everything on the Wii flop? It seems worse than normal tonight.

And, I didn't see it mentioned in the article (I wasn't reading it THAT closely...) but did he use WiiMotionPlus or the current WiiMotes when he played?

Looking at high voltage software's past of making a large, large amounts of 40%-80% av rated games, the conduit is going to be no diffrent.

The story, characters, game mechanics are pretty generic(imo).

but its gfx is good. FOR THE WII. Even if it does look like a 2002 PC fps.
