Joystiq reviewer gets attacked on amazon

If he was unprofessional (demeaning the game with a lots of unnecessary derogatory words), then I guess he's tasting some of his own medicine.

I feel sorry for HVS. They expected everyone likes their game ? Eeven high rated games get many bad reviews.

Yes, but he is a reviewer, if he doesnt like the game and finds in flawed he gives it a bad review its his job. He trashed a game? well maybe its his OPINION?

Some of the fans actually enjoyed the game. From what I seen from itthe game isn't incredible, but it's decent

Did many of you even see the way the book was being advertised? It is in about a 6 font in the notes section of the bottom of the page. It gives a 1-2 sentence synopsis about the reviewer and it is located in every one of his reviews.

It was wrong to attack his book. Many of you said it is the same circumstance with both parties, but that is wrong. The joystiq reviewer did his job and reviewed the game. It might be harsh but that is what he truely felt. The book reviews on the other hand were done directly to retaliate agaist the joystiq review, without any credence to why or how the book is of unsatisfacotry quality.

I'm sure The Conduit 2 is rubbish (though it has the most awesome ending of all time), but to place a link to your novel's Amazon page in a video game review is unprofessional as hell. That he actually has the nerve to whine about their response makes me think even less of the guy.

Still a little tacky, but certainly not unprofessional like I originally thought.

I thought his review of Conduit 2 was pretty ridiculous and way too harsh. That said, it is not professional behavior to seek revenge in this way. Sigh... I wonder what is going to happen to HVS. Last I heard they didn't have a publisher for the Grinder yet. I wonder how much longer HVS will be in business.

You can't control what people like. It's their choice to preorder the game. The game isn't as bad as most people think it is from what I seen from it.

from what ive played of it.. (and i never want to do that again) i say is probably the 3rd or 4th WORST fps i have ever owned the others (in no order) include task force 121, code of honor 1, you are empty, and wh40k: fire warrior

Are you talking about the first one because I heard the first one was a horrible game.The second one interests me more.

he deserved it, but only because he was dumb enough to leave a trail to himself and his book, he could have just posted a review like any other user and nobody would have been the wiserlamprey263

That a common thing for some reviewers to do anyway. Anyway he should have played the game fully before reviewing it.
