JRPG Wars- PS3 Dominates the 360? :o

Surprisngly i'v got many PMs from people requesting i do a JRPG war thread between PS3 and xbox360 on SW ( not sure why u guys dont do it yourselfs) so anyways here it is!

Xbox360 few years back was known to be the JRPG syetem but its been dead in terms of JRPGs for a while now while PS3 gets one game after another, some even score GOTY on GS so lets see why PS3 JRPG library destorys the xbox360 JRPG library .. of course if you own both console then more power to you as you'll be able to play across both.

Cant really remember but if im not mistaken i think last part was when i had to get a cure of some sort and help the girl ( unless thats star ocean 4 lol ). havent played any JRPG for sometime now acorss 360 and PS3. been playing Western games a looot lately ( Uncharted, batman, MW3, etc )

Its so good, but see we have diffrent tastes, i like neptunia for example, many dont.. i like Mw3, many dont and so on. heck i got to get me some JRPG fix tbh, i think iv gone far a way from JRPGs lately lol.

why do people gotta jump all over the ps3 shortcomings like this?

for the last time no matter how much evidence like this you present we refuse to believe the ps3 is the goto system for lolli fetish gamers!

Only things that look good on PS3's side are Valkrie Chronicles, Ni nikuni, and Demon's Souls. Already own and have played FFX on PS2 so meh. LOL Neptunia, really scratching the bottom of the barrel I see. trininty also looks horrible. Ar Torenico games always looked horrible. Never played the White Knight games but have heard mnore negative reviews than positive so meh. Disgaea never appealed to me at all.

for 360 I've played Vesperia. decent game but the Tales series has started to get a bit stale with Vesperia for me (which also means the Tales games shown on the PS3 mean little to me). Haven't played Lost Oddyssey but always wanted to. Infinite Discovery and Last remnant I've haven't heard alot of grteat things for either so meh to those. Blue dragon always looked like crap to me. magna carta I know nothing about so *shrug*

So both of those lists for both of those systems are eq1ually disappointing! :o

Problem might be is that your used to poor quality. For example if your used to eating bad food, bad food would taste good to you or becomes the standard.

If we include Japanese only games the PSP would easily win.

A lot of those games are pretty terrible tbh on both systems. Jrpgs have pretty much flopped this gen.

Come to think of it since this gen started PS2 has had better jrpgs released than PS3 and 360 combined.

Odin Sphere
Persona 3
Persona 4
Rogue Galaxy
Tales of the Abyss
Valkyrie Profile 2

etc.......

Both the 360 and PS3 are crap when it comes to JRPG's, but the DS and PSP make up for that.

If 360 had unreleased games i would have added them but sadly it has nothing, dont blame me :P.. and correction its quantity and Quality.. PS3 even has a GOTY on its list of JRPGs while nothing on 360. just sayin its quality and quantity

I'm just going to come out here and say my sig is the cover of 3 albums that have intros and outro songs of different mecha anime. I mean it would be a cool game, but it's not a game.

I completely agree with both of you. Quality >>>> Quantity. Besides, there are plenty of good JRPG's on handhelds nowadays, not consoles.
