June Will Be The Start Of An Incline Of Sales For PS3

june will be a better month for ps3. in june we have rainbow six vegas, fantastic 4, transformers, the bigs, the darkness, and harry potter. Sales should defitnitelly pick up in june with these releases. june will only be the start of a steady incline in sales leading into the holiday season. as in july we wil have some more good games coming ninja gaiden sigma,(my next purchase :D) and ncaa to name a few. then in august and september the games really start coming with 20 so far slated for september release.  home in october! theres also alot of games without release dates like haze and ractchet and clank so this number could go up after e3. its only a matter of time now ps3 will prevail!

Yeah, it's definitely going to go up.

I think it will really take off in September though especially if Killzone, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, or Haze appear in that month (I'm assuming one will meet its rumoured release date). 

In other words....... you know.......

But that's the thing, all 3 consoles should se an incline in sales, so he's pretty much just stating the obvious.

Why, those games won't sell the PS3. I play alot of games and none of those games sell me, and they are cheaper on other systems, (most of them) why would a causal pay more to play those games....?

No, the reason the PS3 sales are bad is because of the price. The Wii is doing just as bad as the PS3 when it comes to games (maybe even worse) and yet it's selling like hot cakes.

well hey i dont think that will bring up its sales up that much because these games can be found on other systems at the same quality for less but hey thats my opinion, like i said im not trying to put out the ps3 buzz

First, sales canonly go up. Second, june games are also on the less expensive system. I don't think anyone would be holding out to play R6V on the PS3 when they could have already played it on the PC/360. The stuff you had for july and after sounds reasonable but June doesn't seem to good.

Every month should see successive inclines for every console. Q1 is the lowest period of consumption in the year (after that splurge that is December).Danm_999

Nah usually 2nd and 3rd quarters can be worse depending on the company, the Wii is going through rough times right now but the near future is looking good to be honest. I think most companies suffer from the post Christmas game drought. The Wii has some interesting stuff coming out for it though.

June: The Bigs, Harry Potter, RE4 Wii, Pokemon Battle Revolution and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (old port I know but I want to see how Ubisoft can make this game play with the Wiimote).

July: Manhunt 2 and Super Mario Strikers Charged

August: Boogie, Metroid Prime 3, Madden 08 (07 was great so I hope 08 is as good) and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008.

Nothing else for the Wii in September rigt now, October has Beautiful Katamari slated for the Wii, 360 and PS3 but thats it for games that I know of for the Wii, E3 might tell us more though
