Whatever PS3 might come up with, could not possibly counter any of those 360 titles, only Drake i can think of, and that is nothing but a beutifull looking Tomb Raider clone

Arn't all those games out of coming out on the 360 as well? So then why who there be such a great increase then people could spend $200 less on a 360 ?

Except the Wii has one VERY compelling game in the form of Wii Sports. Everybody's buying a Wii primarily for that game. What game are the buying a ps3 for? Resistance? haha, maybe some, but not too many.

Probably the same result, no one is going to buy a $600 console to play Little Big Planet. And I can honestly say I do not know one person who bought a Wii for Wii sports.

I don't think so personally, though I really hope it does end up being true.

Sony really needs some exclusives, and from the look of things, that doesn't really begin until July. Yes, a great console needs a wide selection of games (which can include multiplats) and the PS3 certainly has that. But when you have the same thing as your competitor, then it comes down to exclusives and the PS3 just doesn't have enough or really compelling right now.

I think Sony has a great lineup starting this fall, but that's well after June.

Definately think the PS3s sales will start increasing by the end of the year but I definately don't think it will be June. Movie licenses are not the type of games that convince people to buy $600 consoles.

GTA, Heavenly Sword and Lair will surely be the titles that start to convince people to make the leap.

Absolutely. Question is whether this still holds up once they reach store shelves and notice the $200 price difference.

I think it will be very interesting to see the effect on sales of both consoles GTA has this October.

Anyone who thinks the PS3's sales won't increase is a fool. Of course they will. The question is not if but a when really. When will they skyrocket. Will heavenly sword, Home, be enough???? Or will the new development tools that will make better use of Blue ray and easier to access Ps3's power to make multiplats look better be enough? WIll blue ray winning the format wars be enough? Will MGS4 and FF13. Will Killzone 2 deliver on its hype and be enough? The gppd thing is we have so many potential selling points. Eye toy 2. It's like Sony will never throw in the towel they are truly fighting champions.
