Single player was decent, but still ultimately disappointing. Multiplayer was fun for a week, then I got tired of it.
Plenty have good stories, and good acting. Killzone 2's is horrendous. You seem solely impressed by the Graphics and the superficial trash, which is so pointless. I'm starting to dislike Killzone 2 even more just because of the continuous threads on its supremacy.

I have played and beaten almost every highly rated console FPS this gen.. From Resistance 1 and Resistance 2, Halo 3, Battlefield Bad company, All the Call of duty games this gen and in terms of Epic single player and and multiplayer Killzone 2 owns them all.. Its funny because i just played the single player again for the 2nd time and wow, i think im more impressed with this game now than i was when i first played it earlier this year.
I cant get over how jaw dropping the Graphics are.. I mean i find myself looking forward to running out of bulletts just so i can reload again because the feel and animations of reloading is just so awesome. Grant it the characters and acting arent that great but lets get real, what FPS this gen actually has good acting and a good story?
Before Killzone 2, Halo 3 was my favorite FPS but Halo 3 hasnt aged well at all to be honest.. Killzone 2 is straight aces in almost all areas aside from story. The multiplayer is just so fun and intense and the leveling system isnt noob friendly and you have to have skill to actually level up.

To each his own. And if Halo 3 was your favorite FPS before Killzone 2, I question your taste. ODST had a better single-player than Halo 3, though Halo 3 does have a great multiplayer mode IMO.
Personally, I couldn't get into Killzone 2. The graphics looked GREAT, but the online became boring fast, and the controls were slugglish and annoying.
If you want to play a great FPS, there are some great FPS games on PC. (And yes, I know you said console FPS)
ODST single player was terrible.your opinion.
My opinion of the game is having only middling graphics surpassing gears of war 2 only by a bit, every thing else about the game was horrid.
Storyline was simplistic and was so sparse it was like it was written for a 5th yea in elementary, voice actors sucked and the script was inane.
The gameplay was archaic with nothing new over any other FPS and it didn't even do stuff thats been around for 20 years right at all, controls blew and the way your character moved was inane it didn't add weight to the game it just made you count the seconds on your wrist watch from the time it took you to push forward for your character onscreen to actually start walking.
Online? much like the single player it brought nothing new to the scene and every thing it did do it did badly.
Level design was linear then even the most linear games with your choice of a weapon being basically what you started the game out with any ways with most of the interesting weapons only having a limited use time usually one level at that. *arc gun im looking at you* as well its difficulty was easy a 4 hour playthrough on easy, a near 5 hour playthrough on the next id i had played it on the highest it likely would have only taken 6 or so hours to beat, and hell on the easy playthrough i used nothing but my knife when i could.
You've been touting a lot of KZ2 threads.
Are you trying to hype it up for game of the year?, or state it's superiority? encourage more people to get KZ2??
You like KZ2. I get it.
coincidently Halo 3 has aged pretty well and is still going strong after more then 2-3 years now??
[QUOTE="93soccer"][QUOTE="Kennysolidsnake"]LOL Halo 3 hasn't aged well?? Tell that to the 600K people on average playing every day. and does 600k people playing magically make the game good? halo 3 has aged horrible, the graphics are very medicore compared to todays standards.. It feels extremely last gen, the guns and explosions sound weak and the overall game is just plain boringI have played and beaten almost every highly rated console FPS this gen.. Really Halo 3 was your favorite FPS before Killzone 2 came along?! Doesn't seem that way from that little hate rant so a game that feels extremely last gen and is boring is your second favorite FPS this gen? . . . Come on who you trying to kid?
