just cancelled my xbox one x preorder and picked up a switch...fun times

I got Ps4 and a PC. But I'll get a switch soon cause I travel a freaking lot these days. I need to play Doom on hand held too!

Just recently bought the switch myself. I'm glad I passed on the wii u, makes the line up even more appealing. Also looking forward to local co-op Mario Kart with my son.

I hope you realize that Forza 7 is Loaded with Years worth of playable content and you don't have to spend a Penny on it other than the initial cost of buying the game. The micro transactions are not necessary to play and enjoy this massive game.

Firstly, VG consoles aren't Needed, it's a Want. Secondly, Mighty X1X MonsterBox does much more and everything X1s does X1X does it exponentially better.

@SecretPolice: not poor, I just don't see it doing anything more than stabilizing what previous models couldn't but still requiring game installs due to poor loading capability. Much like the pro the x won't change much not if it has shift in and out of 4k. You're likely better with Xboxnext

FM7 4K 60 fps ultra settings out of the box. Plus there are already more than 130 current X1 games that when played on X1X will be like 130 FREE re-masters plus even some OG Xbox games will be greatly upgraded and BC Only on X1X. Etc., etc., etc.

Switch or more of the same Xbox One X? The X brings nothing new but additional pixels. Buy a PC for that instead. I pretty much stopped buying consoles and console games for about 6 or 7 years now. It was just not worth it. Last of Us was nice, however. But that's it. Switch will be my first console in a long while. Contemplating purchasing one next year January or so.

@SecretPolice: i think you mean more than the 360. I have a 360 and its pretty mediocre compared to ps4 and switch even with an hdmi cable. Ill consider the next xbox beastly but not this one no this is just the beginning of the 4k era

Switch and PC is a better combo than a XXbone.

I saw the X1X and what it can do and the jump from X1 shows indeed an otherwise Next Gen console 1.4 TF to 6 TF but with the awesome added bonus of having BC with X1, 360 and OG Xbox games plus works with all current peripherals from X1. Have fun rebuying Wii U ports for the Bait. Also, with X1X I'll have 100 time more choices in games to play than Bait will have even in ten years from now. lol :P

@SecretPolice: im fone with the occasional port considering I never had a wii u and in liking the new stuff on the horizon. And we shall see MS are not the most paasionate game makers they're more hardware buffs. Its why they haven't made a new ip since Forza...well unless you count Sea of Thieves. Every other ip was bought. Dunno why people keep using the port argument new stuff far outnumbers the ports

No, Forza launched on OG Xbox. There's been many new IP's from MS including all the Rare games launched last gen, great unique titles to boot. You should know this since as you said, you have a 360, right, right? lol :P

@SecretPolice: yhats what I meant Forza is microsoft's only ip they made themselves. Technically Rare was bought along with their ips so they barely count since those games never panned out. Which is a shame because Xbox would be a behemoth if they franchise the **** out of Rare's games. Tbh I hoped for more sequels since a lot them were good. Tbh playstation might be going strong but I feel like their games have peaked and its time to start some new franchises. Plus ps exclusives that I usually buy are starting to appear on pc. I could get behind Xbox if the gaming passion was there on the siftware side but its not.

@SecretPolice: I don't want to bash them I want them to grow beyond just buying already established ips. Sure Rare had Kameo and Viva Pinata but those games haven't gotten the X1 sequel they deserve.Nor has Banjo Kazooie for that matter. I really want Xbox to be bigger than it is now. My interest was genuinely piqued by Xbox after the debut fiasco died and changes were made but nothing ever came to push me toward a purchase once again Xbox was reduced to a multiplatbox. I dunno I'll wait and see if X1X will have any impact but right now my expectations are low and no pretty pixels will change that only the games will.

What games coming for the X1X are exclusive? From what I can see, everything that is coming in the first 6 months for the X1X are also available on the X1!

I'll get mine in 2018 when they release a better, $399 version!!
