Just Got PS Home yesterday.. and WOW, Live better start being free!

I just got the HOME beta, its great and all but, I dont agree with "Live better start being free!".

The beta is pretty fun, I kind of underestimated it. It may seem boring, but it is actually pretty cool. I guess I can keep playing this till my Resistance 2 game comes from the mail :).

Another CODJon thread, supporting the PS3 and claiming not to be biased, 'cause he has an Xbox, supposedly?

i honestly dont see the point;either on 360/PS3,me and my buds just "chill" chill in the game lobby.its much quicker this way.it reminds alot like this game

LOL!  I've been in Home several times and never seen that; that's a sad group of people right there.  Obviously theres going to be people ruining the experience but thats unavoidable.  When I play on Live and hear little kids swearing and making racist remarks that doesn't mean I'm going to stop playing; I just mute them.  Same as Home; just ignore that crap and have fun.  I personally think it's rather dull right now and it doesn't help that none of my friends are interested in it, so I'm roaming around doing nothing but watching that same Socom trailer.

Glad to hear some honesty. Truth is if this was on the 360 people would have a different uptake on SW, but you should take SW with half a grain of salt substitute.

Still though, I think xbl should be free considering how truly **** most games are for lag.

um no you obviously missed the point.

HOME=dance around harras women thats it in a seperate application.

Live=play games online, chat with friends do all this great cool stuff and on the side harras women and call people gay and trashtalk.

See the difference? all one thing consists of is that and the other just has that there by the nature of the thing, oh and viritually raping women as in dancing on them is far worse then calling some people names.

Oh yes i remember now yeah that the party games thing that was publically pulled what? month? 2 months before release, compared to Home where every thing PROMISED was secretly pulled and had to be reported as pulled by the users and beta testers till sony relented and said hey we lied Home will ship with next to none of the functionality that we promised.

HOME:nearly every thing pulled secretly.

What about Second Life? What about FaceBook? Home will be the next fail. Just like Avatars.

Free stuff is free stuff. Boring free stuff is boring free stuff. I can stare at traffic for an hour and not pay for that too, but is that fun? No.

Why does free have to be a pass for crap? Time is a commodity also and if you could be doing something better, DO IT. If my PS3 is on, I'll be gaming on it or watching a flick. Dancing around with a bunch of dudes is not an option.

I hope the developer spaces elevate the experience beyond what it is now and it's pretty dumb to remove them once they opened the beta.

If you like the sims or second life then you'll like home. Its free and you don't have to use it so why complain? I know for a fact that I'm going to like home because it reminds me of the sims and the sims is one of my favorite games of all time.

atm i'm still not interested in Home.... am too busy playing games on my systems :)
