You can go into the Store and go to "View Downloads" at the top right and anything you've ever gotten from there store will be there to download again. You don't have to keep very game you buy on your HDD

Considering that the general GoW feel has gone unchanged since the first installment, I doubt it will be a 10.

We also can't forget that GS tends to be harsher with its ratings than other reviewers.

I would call AAAe, which is quite reasonable considering the quality of the first 2.

If anything is getting a 10 it's Mass Effect 2. But chances are we won't see any 10's for a while and GoW3 will be AAA.

i just watched a playthrough of the demo and it just looks like more of the same that made the first two great. i didnt see anything that wow'd me though. probably a 9 or 9.5 depending on the reviewer. this game's action is too repetitive though for it to ever get a 10

God of War 3 isn't different enough from its predecessors, to be honest. Both the previous games were AAA titles, but somehow even with a new console, and three years of development time, it feels far too similar to be a AAAA title like, say, the first God of War. It feels like the last two games with a facelift, which isn't a bad thing, but I was expecting a revolutionary step forward for the series as opposed to the evolutionary step that God of War 3 seems to be.

Definitely not. I'm a huge GOW fan and even I know this won't be AAAA. AAA, probably. Though in my mind , it's automatically AAAA just for being GOW. :P

I do not think it is going to happen unless its totally different from GW2. GS does not give sequals to games unless its on a new console and brings the series to a new level.

I have played the demo in your scenario, HD, 5.1. Honestly, you are overhyping the demo beyond belief. It's a typical excellent game, and they obviously picked that portion to show it off, the real game will be great, but calling a 10 now is pointless. You think they picked that portion to show it off? You understand that they haven't really shown us anything purposely right? The demo showed a few of the new gameplay additions, but that wasn't even close to the good stuff at all... There were was no new magic/abilities, moving/living levels that are manipulated as you play through them, no epic boss fights, or any other secrets that Santa Monica is obviously not going to tell you.

I think that's the problem with a demo like this. It shows that the game will look good and control the same as previous ones, but certain people are like: "it's just more of the same" like they complain about unless it's their favorite series of a video game. They haven't shown us anything. I hope they keep spoilers to a minimal. I really wish I hadn't seen the Hotel level, urban warfare, or the train level for Uncharted 2. If I hadn't, I would have been completely blown away. I don't want the same thing to happen with GOW III. The other games blew me away and this one will be epic beyond proportions..

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it did get a 10 here. I don't think it will, but I wouldn't be surprised.

The demo is just epic.

After playing the demo my personal hype is a 10. I really believe it's going to surpass MGS4 as my favourite game this gen but I don't think GS will give it a 10, definitely AAA though since I mean come on! it's GOW!. The demo felt just right, even though it's from the E3 build it was immense fun and showed off a lot of great aspects of the game, killer moves, amazing backdrops etc. Currently the game is finished, as in you can play it from start to end so the next few months up until release will go into polishing the game, the final product will undoubtedly be mind-blowing :o Better yet we can see new footage of the game next month, can't wait!

I watched my brother play some of the demo... looked like 9.0 material.

I had a lot of fun playing the demo, but I don't expect higher than a 9.0 from GS. I've never played a GoW game before, but the gameplay in this one is pretty simple - really fun, but simple. I understand how people may like it more than Ninja Gaiden based on scale, graphics and pure sense of epic, but the combat in Ninja Gaiden feels so much better to me. Of course, what I played was far from the full game, so I'll leave my judgement for the day it releases. Also, the platforming feels a little unpolished, and the graphics, while pretty great in terms of scale could use a little touching up. As of right now, I think it looks about on par with Heavenly Sword (in no way a diss, Heavenly Sword is gorgeous).

I dont think ive ever been this amazed by a game probably since when MGS came out for the PSone and I think im even more amazed now by GOW3 then i was MGS back when i first played MGS.. I just played the demo again and GOW 3 is just.. engrossing,immersive,extremely satisfying, epic and just all out amazing.. David Jaffe was 110% correct when he said its a painting come to life.. I honestly dont know how the Devs made something so breathtaking, mindblowing and extremely fun like they did with GOW3.

I know you are probably reading this with a bit of skepticism and cynicism but do me a favor.. play this game in HD with surround sound blasting and i guarantee you will be beyond amazed at this game.. I played only the demo and if the rest of the game is as flawless and mindblowing then this will for sure get a 10/10, quote me on this right now. Put it in your sig, but this game; God Of War 3 will be the next game to score 10/10 here at Gamespot.

And before you laugh, just remember MGS4.. when A LOT of people said that game would get a 8.5 here when others said it would get a 10/10 and look how that one turned out. IMO MGS4 was amazing but GOW3 just takes amazing to a whole new level.

It'll get AAA-AAAA for sure, i played the demo yesterday for the first time and was blown away, the demo alone is so epic and diverse the full game will only get better...

PS3s lineup is becoming stronger and stronger.

.. Why the hell are people even getting anything remotely close to a AAA when it has shown to be the carbon copy of the gameplay from the very first game.. With a new coat of paint.. GoW1 wasn't the posterchild for deep gameplay elements and such either, this game will most likely score like chains of olympus at best.. It will be marked down for being a short game, having the exact same gameplay mechanics as the past 3 games.. So on and so fourth.. sSubZerOo
