My sentiments exactly.
This topic is locked from further discussion.
the pointless pictures to try and be funny, the defensive posts, you stick out...what can i say. so does originality make a game?Eyezonmii
Guy that i quoted said that KZ2 style is original and that Crysis have no style
And pictures are not pointles it clearly states that
1. KZ2 is not realistic
2. KZ2 is in no way "artistic" (its like calling Rambo movie art  )
3. Jin Roh pwns
not to forget that you are comparing KZ2 to game from 2007
Many?lol, you serious?
just how graphics can add to gameplay. better animations mixed with incredible visuals, makes the overall look of the game more better, its why many say K2 looks better in motion.

Obviously you havent been playing Crysis Warhead.
An all fairness it is... though of course so is Crysis.2. KZ2 is in no way "artistic" (its like calling Rambo movie art  )
Lidve
It goes for the 'ultra gritty' war look, with smoked chocked skies and destroid buildings.
In all due respect it does look impressive..... however it does not look anywhere near as good as Crysis/Warhead.
Warhead especially.
That game is 'jaw drop' amazing, even after its predacessor.....
dude come on.....
artistically crysis is still better....you cannot beat realism.

No, and no. If you like the artstyle or not thats an opinion.
But anything beats realism, cause realism is boring. Give me surrealism any day.
However, both games sport a good physics engine that makes things move realisticly. Thats something else.
But this is where KZ beats crysis. If you killsomeone in Crysis you go into instant ragdoll mode, which ISN'T realistic at all. Where as KZ has a mocap ragdoll system that makes enemys die realisticly.
KZ2 has generic 10 shades of grey art design (not necessarily a bad thing but nothing unique or inspired). Cysis: Warhead has this.
KZ2 looks miles ahead of crysis,i find funny how pc fanboys still think that crysis holds a candle to killzone2,dream on...KZ2FTW and graphics king!
imo, art-wise and the overall look of the title it screams realism and war torn mayhem...like being in a battle.
Mainly due to animations/effects, etc..but artstyIe-wise its pretty impressive and stick out even against the most realistic titles. even if doesn't looks as good as crysis, so again, it stands out and is a great techinical achievement for consoles. I think thats what many people don't understand, when i say it looks better than any other shooter, i obviously know it isn't as detailed as say crysis for obvious reasons, but the developers have marveoulously shaped its own unique look, with a heavy use of amazing lighting/ effects. Not seen in a console game yet.
its the combination of animations, lighting, effects, and style of gameplay that brings it to life and makes one just step back and say wow. (visually speaking)
while i'm also mentioning animations, Crysis's animations arn't realistic in comparison, its like your typical static shooter with straight forward movements and what not, while KZ has a more weighty/swaying look to it, like everything alive and in motion. (at least for me) weither its from jumping over objects or jumping in general it looks real as one would do it in real-life and thats what GG's goal is. that level of realism, which i don't see in any other shooter.
gameplay is questionable, i know i will like it as i did the first, but i'm not getting into that.
so is this how many K2 lovers feel regarding its looks or am i the only one?
