Kamiya says PSASBR is a SSB ripoff

Platinum Games Kamiya has said on his twitter acccont that Playstation All-Star Battle Royale is a Super Smash Bros ripoff.

I seriously don't agree with him.

From what I've seen it's only inspired by SSB.

it's a rip-off but whats really is bothering me the list of characters in the game is still sh!tty, they need to include more Playstation characters that are old and new.

Why include characters for the whole purpose of cross promotion instead of including more interesting mix of characters?

I know but so far it's mostly new characters in that roster, there are iconic characters that need to be there that are/were associated with Playstation over the years, and why the obsession with Raidan? Grey Fox is a million times better choice for a Metal Gear Solid character, Raidan is not even a star to begin with.

Even Rising wouldv'e been more appealing if it's about Grey Fox.

it is obvious that it is a rip off of ssbb if you look at the hud and artstyle , couldnt agree more , but that does not mean its a bad game ,,

to judge a game we must play it first , so i will wait until then to make my own opinion

Nope, Raidan doesn't even exist as far as I'm aware... but Raiden, well he has STARRED more games than Grey Fox ;)

PSASBR clearly takes inspiration from SSB, although I'm thinking both games will be quite different in terms of mechanics and the whole "building up the meter" aspect compared to the "build up the percentage to knock the opponent off the stage" aspect.
