Kamiya says PSASBR is a SSB ripoff

But seriously who cares.. Lol.

On the surface it definately appears to be a rip off, but to anyone who has played it they know that claim is wrong. It does borrow a few elements, but it is very different, especially in it's combat. You don't do smash attacks, you do combos, and the combat system is more complex and requires more skill to win (sorry Sheep it's the truth).

I wish people would just give this game a chance. If you like smash bros you will like this. Most people I see hating on this game don't even have a PS3. You know what means, they jelly :cool:.

PS3 is the console that brings out the jelly in those that don't have it.

Platinum Games Kamiya has said on his twitter acccont that Playstation All-Star Battle Royale is a Super Smash Bros ripoff.

It's certainly inspired by Smash Bros, based upon the screenshots, gameplay footage, and overall concept. There are a lot of games that you could consider ripoffs, but they're still great games. His opinion really doesn't mean anything.

I just think its dumb that people make such a big deal about this being a rip off. CoD ripped off of Medal of Honor years ago, then CoD got popular, and now MoH is ripping off of CoD. How ridiculius is that? Copying/stealing good ideas is just part of this industry.

Because its silly to single out this game for being a rip off when so many other games have obvious influences of one another and steal good ideas to put them into their own game.

It's true, whether your a fan or it's a good game or not, it is true.

Stating the obvious there? We all instantly thought it looks exactly like SSB when we saw the gameplay footage. It's a rip off in every sense. There isn't a shred of a originality in this game.

It is, but who cares? Sony needs a game like this in it's library...It would be stupid not to make the game in my opinion. ;)
