I find his character pretty funny most of the time. He does have a point though, whilst the games awesome, the conversations whilst riding with people can be pretty drab.

I'd say something about MGS4 but I love MGS :P

That's the thing, if Red Dead had been PS3 exclusive the comment would probably read something like "Don't you just love how this PS3 exclusive builds the story at all points in the game?" F*en hypocrite.

That's the thing, if Red Dead had been PS3 exclusive the comment would probably read something like "Don't you just love how this PS3 exclusive builds the story at all points in the game?" F*en hypocrite.

I dont have anything against the character, some of his stuff is pretty funny, but i really dont see the point of him other than a paid mud slinger.

Either that is sony marketing department's twitter account (which doesn't seem to be since that post doesn't fit ps3/psp or sony anyway) or that actor has gone mad and took Kevin Butler as his real identity.

I didnt find the conversations in RDR to be bad but the fact that you are everybody's female dog is pretty downright stupid.

Ermm, look at it this way would you rather the journeys to the start of the next mission be instantaneous or completely silent? The fact that this guy works for Sony has nothing to do with my distaste for him, he is a hypocrite that is why I don't like him.

The only explanation on anything that he could offer would be because it is made by Sony, or not made by Sony. Of course he isn't a real PR rep, so he can get away with it.

I can say the same thing about first-person shooters or most things that the younger generation of gamers enjoy. It is a matter of taste.

Oh i played the game,i wasnt the fan of those conversations but it was FAR better then just muted sound like in other open world games...

You do realise he's an actor right and it would be a logical assumption that a team of writers would do the vast majority of his material and post on his twitter account etc. If it was just the guy who plays KB playing a game, he'd post about it under his own name surely, or is that his real name?

Finished it last night and i gotta say even when i had to choice to skip during those moments i usually listened to the entire conversations. but thats just me. I can understand people thinking they're boring but as you said its better than 5-10mins in silence (the horse ride to Cloud Ruler Temple springs to mind).

I never suggested i was taking him seriously, but Sony's PR people who right the stuff could take it too far someday. (piss off 3rd party devs etc.)

I don't see the point of that twitter post. So, he's making fun of a game that's on the PS3 and offers exclusive content only for that version. Honestly where's the benefit in making fun of the game? how in the world does this help promote the PS3?

Its not like this is a 360 exclusive or anything, so again, what was the point?

I'm sure Rockstar loves having their games mocked, especally when they went the extra mile and offered exclusive content with the PS3 version.
