It was a joke from Sony PR that most definitely excists. So yeah i think it was a little over the top. They should stick to material that bashes the competition and not contributors is all i'm saying.

I would love to Facepalm half you guys in the face. Seriously its an opinion, which I half agree with most of the conversations were out right boring. The other half were small fillers for the story.

the guy is a character from an advert. his job is to sell ps3's which he isn't particularly good at. i don't think he's funny and tbh the only people i've come across who do are cows

The only people who will ever view this tweet are gamers. Mature gamers would find it funny or just not care. I doubt Sony worries to much about the immature core gamers who already have there mind made up over who they think sucks. Bashing is probably too strong a word, criticism would be more in line. And it doesnt bother me as i've said plenty of times, i dont find this particular tweet funny as i enjoyed all those "boring" conversations personally. I just found it odd that instead of bashing the competition as expected they were having a go at a 3rd party contributor.

Now i'm starting to feel like a broken record ...

I'll simplify my stance for anyone who feels the need to question or criticize it in future ..

KevinB = Funny most of the time

Making fun of the competition = funny and pretty ordinary PR.

Making fun of third party games on their platform = Pointless as it does nothing for the brand.

People are taking this way too seriously, especially the fanboys on both sides. He was just poking fun at the game; he wasn't insulting RDR or Rockstar. After all, aren't they making a PS3 exclusive? That just wouldn't make sense. I have to agree that he probably wouldn't joke like that about Playstation exclusives because people might take it seriously and not buy the game; but this game has already done very well and people already have it, which is why he's joking about it. It's more of an 'inside joke' for people who already have the game.
