Killer Instinct does indeed look more like Street Fighter.
Which is a shame, as theyve gone for the cartoon look instead of the realistic look.

Looks like trash and the combo system looks like it did not advance. I did not even see one no mercy either.

Eh double helix also made the green lantern games, gi joe rise of cobra, battleship, silent hill homecoming, and max vs atv. That isnt a pedigree that exactly inspires hope this game will be good.

It looks looks like a lazy fighting game where they were forcing it to have the key points of KI without actually being KI.

And the fact its free, but you can only play as jago unless you pay for more character pisses me off.

I have no interest in this game at all.

I'm not writing the game off or anything, but does anybody else think the combos and the combat look disappointingly slow compared to old school KI? I really don't like the pauses in the middle of combos.

So of course those people will go crazy for and old school game.

so far everything i have seen makes me want the game, and i was always a mortal kombat guy.    The graphics are very good, and the fighting looks extreme.   day 1 purchase,  as far as the booing yesterday, that was because they heard Microsoft and right now its popular to bash Microsoft for its stance on DRM.   People will love the game if its good.   So far Glacier looks amazing and love all the gameplay....
