Yeah, but it's still graphically intense and is running at 1080p.

KI is a fighting game...

meh to me looks like a port that was planned for the xbox 360 and rushed to the xbox one.

Killzone multiplayer looks fine. I downloadad a 4 minute high res video a week ago and I see nothing wrong with it. But Battlefield 4 on PC is my goto multiplayer game this fall and next year.

I would not care if it was 720p@ 60fps if the graphics was turned up. KI looks like crap to be 100 for a next gen fighter and forza 5 looks sloppy @ 1080p. The original KI was known for graphics not really gameplay and now it seems to have neither. I was geeked for KI but damn they slipping with is game major.

Thats no excuse, it shouldnt be a launch title then.

If they were charging $60 for it I could understand.

If they were only making the season 1 content I could understand.

If the full game could be finished by spring next year I could understand.

Seeing as none of those are the case, I'm glad they are letting me play what is finished for a very reasonable price instead of making me wait till 2015 :)

open world sandbox 3d game =/= 2.5d fighter

It's been in dev 10-11 months, just look at the recent vids. They are focusing 95% on the gameplay due to MS up their arse about being ready for launch. We have yet to see the finished graphics.

I don't understand why this is such "huge ownage" Cerny himself stated it will take multiple years to extract power, this is the same of any new console... It's not like KI is that visually impressive, clearly it's NOT a hardware limitation, rather a hardware implementation issue, like BF4 looking mediocre on the PS4. To give another example, Watch Dogs, looks the same on both next gen consoles, is more visually impressive than KI and it's probably because of Ubi. Personally, the ownage is on the SONY trolls yet again for being such tools.

For the PS4, NOT for the Xbox ONE.

Cerny added in tons of ACEs to the last 4 CUs of the PS4's GPU as incentives for devs to use GPGPU processing without taking a graphical hit to the games. There is no such modification on the Xbox ONE's side. In fact, most of the modification on the Xbox ONE's hardware are bandaid solutions to the DDR3 RAM. The Xbox ONE will hit its cap much earlier than the PS4.

Furthermore, there is no proof that Watch Dogs looks the same on both next-gen consoles. Ubisoft have only shown the PS4 version. Same with every single multiplat (With the exception of CoD: Ghosts, which look like ass).

NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 has day/night and weather system.

Intel Core i3-3220 + AMD Radeon HD 7770 (2GB GDDR5) can run NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 PC @ max settings, 1080p and ~60 fps.

Of course, this is the Microsoft-made, genuine, Cablebox One. System designed to watch cable! The only 1080p you'll be getting on there is from the channels you stream.

Nope, you try leaving your PC on for a week and use it without having a slow down.

After a week, I haven't encountered a "slow down" with my Samsung 840 SSD + 16 GB RAM equipped PCs e.g. my laptop and my main desktop PC (used as a home server).

What it does mean though is that the PS4 has can support a larger queue for compute data. Here is what the ACE units do. Not quite right. The ACE units designed for 7970 has a dispatch capability to support it's 32 CUs i.e. a 32 CU equiped GCN has greater in-flight wavefronts when compared to lesser GCNs with less CUs.

7970 GE has a TDP around 220 to 250 watts which indicates greater active CU count when compared to similar process tech 18 CU equiped GCN i.e. PS4's GCN is estimated to be around 100-to-120 watts.

7970 GE's 250 watts @ 32 CUs / 2 = 125 watts @ 16 CUs which roughly equals to 7850's 130 watts @ 16 CUs.

Note that each CU has it's own hardware scheduler and it has out-of-order dispatch on non-depandent wavefronts. 7970 has 32 hardware schedulers for 32 CUs.
