Killzone 2 and Gears (Poll and Graphical Comparis

The problem here is that one game is already out and the other we are all guessing on how good its going to look. From what i have played and seen i think, IMO Gears looks better. And pics from my game not pics from gamespot.

yeah i dont know where he came with the 3 year thing, but a 2 year diference between games is still a lot, heck even one year is considered a lot (1 year and 10 months is by all means a 2 year diference

Killzone 2 looks better.

Gears of War 2 will still look better than it though.

(Though I'm worried when the only thing Epic said is going to be better is Physics and Lighting, what about animations..textures etc? :|)

Ah,the textures in Gears of War are great. Especially some parallax maping.

All they need to do is fix the damn lightining and that lame depth of field effect.

Gear of War 1 is looks much more demanding technically than any other Ps3 game.

Killzone 2 looks better, despite the textures. However, this is an unfair comparison since you're comparing a 2008 (or later) game to a 2006 game. For a better comparison, lets see what Gears of War 2 will offer in the graphics department. leviathan91

2nd. Anyone who thinks GeoW1 will look better needs to realize the time span between release dates.

easily a much better comparison, i finsihsed gears at a friends place and these definately represent it alot better. KZ2 still looks better but this does narrow the gap. bit unfair in the comparison thought the Gears pics looked crappy.

Stupid comparison. Killzone 2 murders Gears in graphics. Gears looks mediocre in comparisonMasters_Chief

The gears pictures the TC posted look nothin like the game does when your playing it, your pics are about wright.....
