But really, with Killzone 1 being used as a paper-weight, and with the past two Halo games being AAA, I don't think there's any lemming who would trade Halo 3 for Killzone 2.

Especially since Guerilla Games hasn't even made a AAA game.

guerilla acknowledged the first game had lots of shortcomings, and are rectifying them. They are capable of making a good game. Liberation scored 8.3 and was really fun.

GS said this game plays as good as it looks. this game looks stunning. It's getting glowing previews from everywhere

There was once a little dev team called Ninja Theory. They created Kung Fu Chaos.

For their next big game cows swore that the team had pulled a 180 and would bring out a AAA megaton for the PS3, despite their craptacular effort on the Xbox.

Their sophomore effort also included glowing reviews and even had lemmings and sheep envious.

Heavenly Sword has had mostly less than stellar reactions since it was first reviewed.

Maybe so, but Heavenly Sword was never hyped by GameSpot like Killzone 2 is. Cows made a big deal of it because of the amazing graphics and animations. I've never heard a site claiming HS's gameplay as amazing.

Crud I need to see the new impressions.

KZ2 isn't in my most wanted list, but I did enjoy Liberation on my PSP, even if it was an isometric shooting game.

And the Killzone universe is pretty alright in my book.

It was quite cool that they admitted that the first KZ was "sloppy" (atleast the AI-part) and they're trying really hard to improve their game.

did anyone else hear the dev saying they're a couple of things they need do to finsih this leve including streaming and ploshing the Teh......? the audio cuts off there but it defenitaly sounded like textures and the for people who said they thought the a.i. is stupuid it's because it's being played on god mode. thats leaves very little lemmings can complain about. on a side note the game looks great when post processing effects are taken off i kinda wish they would leave it like thatRagashahs

The post-processing fits the tone in that particular segment, they said they can turn it on and off on the fly and for specific areas too. So there will most probably some varied locations to play in, even the first Killzone had lots of variation when it came to that.

One thing I want to say. I was "Leik Woa" when I saw him detach the camera and show the entire area, "ah mah gawd" when he slowed down the game after touching down and watching the explosion+embers... Then I was all "Lulz noobers" when I saw someone other than the dev playing the game. :/

To sum up, my reaction through parts of the playthrough;

Behind RE5, I'd say this is the best looking console game shown so far. I love how the light from the guns cast actual shadows, and the lens flare, and how the lighting is exaggerated while low on health.

That video didn't look particularly easy either, should've died on many occassions. I ususally play games on hard first so this should be fun to play. Or frustrating.
