By the time Killzone 2 comes out there will be atleast 2 or more games that will make Killzone 2 graphics obselete in 2009.

nah i dont find anything on consoles very impressive graphics wise after playing crysis. but gears 2 is a technical beast while being somewhat visually pleasing. kz2 a pile of greys and corridor shooting.

ign gave gears 2 best graphics award at e3. but both ign and gt are wrong since crysis warhead was at e3.

Gears 2 just somewhat visually pleasing??? lol. I've never played Crysis. For some reason I dont think my PC could handle it... maybe it's just because it can hardly handle the Sims 2. :P

I feel the same way, I just dont see it. Kz2 to me looks like crap. The graphics are average. Maybe I just hate the art style but in any case Im not impressed. I seem to be in the minority so it could just be me.

Wow!! You insecure lemmings never stop trying to reassure yourselves of your purchase while the people who actually own both systems know that both machines produce impressive images. The only true differences that you can notice is one has slightly, I REPEAT, slightly better lighting and crisper textures while the other produces more seamless environments and superior character animations. Pick your poison, the differences are minimal!

PS: Until I see KZ2 in motion, in front of me on my PS3, I will reserve my judgement on whether it is CONSOLE graphics king. That spot goes to Uncharted for the PS3 and Kameo for the 360.

Try looking at it in motion. No one will be playing this game at 1 frame per second. Killzone 2 was never a game to look at in screenshots.

UTIII looks better than Gears and NO cow ever stated it was graphics king so where does that put gears or Gears2? Gears 2 better pull off alot of stuff over the original game or else I think alot of peoples feelings are going to get hurt.

And yes a game in motion looking better than screens is the cherry on top.

Gears in motion looked like rubbish, with horrendous animations, stutter during gameplay, frame rate issues just in cutscenes, textures coming and going depending which way you turned, muddy looking enviroment at distances no further than 25 yards, voice acting non existent, story no where to be found, open doors that you can't enter, linear sections no wider than 5 yards and the biggest sections maybe 35 yards, really no more than 2-4 enemies on the screen at once. Enemies just appearing out of no where, enemies getting stuck on the enviroment, boss fight with him getting stuck and couldn't be killed had to restart lol. Coop play that was broken. Oh yea and just plain bad sound, hearing a enemy behind me but he was up the steps still, I was like wtf lol.

Once again I could go on and on lol. I just hope for yall that you get something better than some beta like the first one. I really do believe it was rushed and not polished at all just to match the ps3's launch date.
