Killzone 2 graphics king? my ass!!

UTIII looks better than Gears and NO cow ever stated it was graphics king so where does that put gears or Gears2? Gears 2 better pull off alot of stuff over the original game or else I think alot of peoples feelings are going to get hurt.

And yes a game in motion looking better than screens is the cherry on top.

Gears in motion looked like rubbish, with horrendous animations, stutter during gameplay, frame rate issues just in cutscenes, textures coming and going depending which way you turned, muddy looking enviroment at distances no further than 25 yards, voice acting non existent, story no where to be found, open doors that you can't enter, linear sections no wider than 5 yards and the biggest sections maybe 35 yards, really no more than 2-4 enemies on the screen at once. Enemies just appearing out of no where, enemies getting stuck on the enviroment, boss fight with him getting stuck and couldn't be killed had to restart lol. Coop play that was broken. Oh yea and just plain bad sound, hearing a enemy behind me but he was up the steps still, I was like wtf lol.

Once again I could go on and on lol. I just hope for yall that you get something better than some beta like the first one. I really do believe it was rushed and not polished at all just to match the ps3's launch date.

No I would have to say mgs4 is the same. Screen shots just don't do it justice, sorry but I have yet to see one that actually looked like the game in motion.GreyFoXX4

Take off your PS3 glasses, then maybe you will see. MGS4 is nothing special in the Graphics department. Most non-cows with PS3's agree

Incredibly detailed and visually breathtaking, with amazing camera angles, MGS4 is one of the most beautiful titles ever made.

It beats anything out there

Yeah the textures are mediocre, but all the motion blur and other effects cover it up

I took him seriously. I read through his post and sadly greyfoxx4 is right. You know it too, but yes gears was the best game out for its time. times have changed and guess what. Gears kinda sucks now.

NO it dosent suck now. It sucks now, just like halo ce or mario3 or ff7 sucks now. The bar is always raising. If gears2 dosent raise the bar scores will show it, you shouldnt hate on a great game, just to hate.

Once again people bash me but don't dispute my statements about Gears. It was rushed plain and simple. You can go googoo or gaaga over the textures all day long. But if the textures are inconsistant, and the game has no Story, broken gameplay elements, OPEN doors that can't be entered into, broken coop play elements, bad sound quality, stutter, fps issues, bad voice acting and broken MP aspects such as the shotty. Then the rest of the game just goes to the waist side.

Yes some of the gameplay is quite entertaining but that alone didn't want me to play the next chapter or that alone didn't even make me want to play the rest of the game. At chapter 4 I ejected it and shook my head and never finished it after having 1 boss fight that was broken and 1 enemy getting stuck and not allowing the game to continue.

I just hope Gears2 does better for its fans. And also for the most part the ps3 has put out some very good and polished games. So on that front I really have no concern about Killzone2 letting me down graphic wise, gameplay wise after seeing MP vids and SP vids. Now if it can just put together a very epic story I'll be in heaven. And from the back drop stories on Killzone.com I think they will have that covered aswell.
