All graphics and no gameplay should be just fine for teh cows. See, Killzone 2 is ONLY HYPED because of the graphics. Nothing else matters to the cows. Some cows even bought Lair just for the graphics (because they KNEW the gameplay was going to be terrible after all the negativity they read).

Why are you guys blasting a game that has over 8 months of dev to go? Of course some aspects look like a pile of **** And as for developing time, i think these guys really want to do a good job. They will approve it; and so far no one is complaining about the gameplay..1up have a preview of the game and they it played well and graphics is top notch..

They can do a lot right now to approved it..

I never get the complaints about AI.

Also I notice from that new video, while you're playing there's like these sudden mini cutscenes or whatever. I don't know if they just did that for the video or if these mini cutscenes are triggered. Depending on how many there are and how frequent they pop up, that might get a little bit annoying. Say you have your rocket launcher ready to shoot the tank, then all of a sudden you get this mini cutscene that shows the tank over and over again. Who knows. We'll just wait.

Also did anyone notice the cheesy dialogue like "I feel like a spare prick at a gang-bang". That reminded me of Haze.

Those "cutscenes" are probably how it was edited to show off more of the stage, watching the gameplay videos and walkthroughs there are none of those. If they're any indication there won't be any or at the very least very few, hell at one point during the 1UP video the camera was flying through the stage with a rocket launcher cross-hair so I'm guessing the developers did it for the presentation's sake.

All I can say is Killzone 2 will be, "Huge". Reason I say this is because it looks like COD4 but enhanced graphics and more to offer in gameplay. Anyone who digs COD4 will definately want to pick this game up. To me from what ive seen it looks like a COD4 enhancement in every way but with bigger, better and more bad a$$ enemies to take down, so I am pretty sure this game will sell very well and be tons of fun. And the desturctable environmets on killzone 2 also add to how better this game will be then COD4. I also cant wait to see some multiplayer footage, that would be awesome.

It is not an excuse, this is a good business strategy. They want to make space for Resistance2 and Socom. They can delay KZ2 as long as they want.
