Killzone 2 is the best FPS ever made.

Killzone 2 looks better than Crysis. Only people who haven't played the full Killzone 2 campaign will deny this. KZ2 has better looks particle effects. better looking levels, better looking weapons, more varied levels and just looks better overall, it looks like a proper war game with lots of stuff going on at one time. Crysis looks boring by comparison.

Killzone 2 has better online play than Modern Warfare and Team Fortress 2. Modern warfare has rubbish spawn points and is a grenade spamming noob fest for noobs and kids. The sequel will be no different. Killzone 2 takes everything that's good about Team Fortress 2 and expands on it, it has better classes, better online maps, better community. It's also better than Halo 3 which is just awful and really shouldn't even be in this topic so I won't talk about it. The only reason Killzone 2 isn't as popular as something like Halo is because a lot of people can't afford a PS3 so will never get to play it. If it was on the 360 it would top Halo sales, it has a better campaign and better online play, It's the real Halo killer, it's better in every single way.

they all have flaws and each game offers different options that appeal to different type of gamers

Like the story that looked like it was going to be great after the opening cut scene, but ended up being very poor

The last level was rubbish

Only carrying one weapon was nonesense. (and the pistol was like throwing handfulls of gravel at your foe)

and it did feel very much like a series of Killboxes connected with corridors.

but on the up side it looked great and had some of the best shooting ive played in a FPS.

It's like lemmings who say Forza is better than Gran Turismo, they simply deny the truth as the truth hurts to much, everyone but lemmings will tell you Gran Turismo is better than Forza. Just as everyone who has access to Killzone 2 will tell you it wipes the floor with all other FPS.

If people think something like Modern Warfare is better it's only because they are unable to get to grips with Killzone 2, it requires skill, unlike all the other FPS on the market.

Its the best shooter on consoles this gen but it does not look better then crysis and there are much better shooters (on pc)

imo i think the story is great but i know about the story since kz1 and have been following it

i think the prob with GG is they thought people already knew about the story so they didnt put much into part 2

but if ur a fan of killzone 2 u should have no problem with the story

but like i said its my opinion and thats why we have so many different FPS games on all platforms so each person can pick what they like

Yeah ok joke topic, I can understand some people hype Killzone 2 a lot but Ive never heard people say its the best FPS ever...

Anyway its not trhe best FPS ever. The SP is good and has brilliant action but its story isnt well told and the characters get annoying as hell.

Online though I do like it more than COD4, but Ive not played halo 3 online much, I dont use live much and so matchmaking always puts me in with n00bs so it gets a bit easy for me =P

Its a brillaint FPS, ut the best??? I liked Timesplitters 3 more tbh... And Halo 1.

Its in the top few though.

I disagree. In fact, I found it to be one of the poorer FPS experiences. Halo 3, The Orange Box, Resistance 2, even Unreal Tournament III were shooters I had a lot more fun with than Killzone 2.

And those pictures look great. I really think I should build a gaming PC. I've been itching to play Crysis and STALKER, plus a whole bunch of other WRPGs and titles that are PC exclusive. I may have to do that instead of buying next gen's consoles.
