Killzone 2 looks better than Crysis. Only people who haven't played the full Killzone 2 campaign will deny this. KZ2 has better looks particle effects. better looking levels, better looking weapons, more varied levels and just looks better overall, it looks like a proper war game with lots of stuff going on at one time. Crysis looks boring by comparison.

Killzone 2 has better online play than Modern Warfare and Team Fortress 2. Modern warfare has rubbish spawn points and is a grenade spamming noob fest for noobs and kids. The sequel will be no different. Killzone 2 takes everything that's good about Team Fortress 2 and expands on it, it has better classes, better online maps, better community. It's also better than Halo 3 which is just awful and really shouldn't even be in this topic so I won't talk about it. The only reason Killzone 2 isn't as popular as something like Halo is because a lot of people can't afford a PS3 so will never get to play it. If it was on the 360 it would top Halo sales, it has a better campaign and better online play, It's the real Halo killer, it's better in every single way.

Killzone 2 is the best FPS ever created, to say it isn't is to deny the truth.

yeah dude the whopping 399price point is really driving the crowd away....cmon, really? theres no way Killzone if it was a system that sold for 199 would outsell halo.

PLEASE tell me what drugs youre on so i can share in your altered reality...

KillZone 2 isn't even the best FPS that will be on the market in 2009. Modern Warfare 2 > * But KZ2 is excellent in its own right. I just think it a bit...nearsighted to proclaim it the best FPS ever made. Too many legendary games that changed the genre over the years to proclaim KZ2 the champ. I can't think of anything new or unique that it actually does. Doom brought FPS. Unreal Tournament and Quake Arena gave rise to the fast-twitch. Goldeneye brought FPS to consoles in a real way. Halo took the console FPS and brought it to the masses. Half Life 1 & 2 perfected the epic FPS adventure. Halo 2 perfected console multiplayer FPS gaming. Call of Duty brought us dramatic combat and the perk system. Red Faction brought us destructible environments. Battlefield brought us 40 and 50 player multiplayer. Counterstrike brought us team madness. System Shock brought us the dramatic storytelling. So what, exactly, did KZ2 do? Gorgeous graphics, SFX and good cinematics. and cool death animations. Beyond that, it's just a mix and match of things done before...and not necessarily as well as they had been done before.

For many, possibly a majority, of FPS players, the most important factor in a game is multiplayer. The best-selling FPS games are strongly geared towards competitive multiplayer (CS, Halo, COD). What you fail to understand is that for anyone that wants an FPS for multiplayer, a game like Deus Ex is WORTHLESS. Since there is a distinct possibility that multiplayer DRIVES the FPS genre, then it is clear that the game with the better multiplayer can be considered to be the superior game by many, if not most FPS players.

I always laugh at people when i see them playing quake and just walking around normal. good players are strafe jumping the whole damn time, never just running not jumping. it's always the crap players who never jump unless they see you lol then they just randomly jump and u rail em in the face lulz. quake noobs are so funny.videogamesdead6

Ah, bunny hopping. How realistic, NOT! You do realize that many games actually put in place mechanics that limit the ability to fire a weapon while jumping. Jumping is overdone, anyways. There is no way that anyone could jump around like a hare while strapped to 80lbs of gear. Why do games have their characters jumping like olympic pole vaulters on speed? It isn't realistic, but it is stupid.
