Killzone 2 love it or hate it?

I bought Killzone 2 the first day it came out. I beat the campaign in 5 hours which I guess is ok concerning it was made for Multiplayer. I get on and play a few matches are start to come to the conclusion that it all feels like Team deathmatch. Whenever there is an objective it seems like everyone disregards it and just shoots each other. I don't get why the MP was so hyped and so loved by all when games like MGO are much better IMO.

How about you guys? Did you get bored of it fast to?

BTW the first week I played I got the top badge for being in the top 1% or something, was way to easy.

love it. i love how all the game modes are streamed one after another seamlessly. and it actually takes skill *cough* CoD *cough*SilverChimera

Love it, have been playing it since launch and I don't plan to stop until MW2 comes out. Even then I'll pop it in from time to time.

I really don't notice the thing you mentioned, the type of game mode determines how people play whenever I play.

I thinks its solid but not amazing, an ok game to play while I wait for something better. It kind of urks me that this game gets so much hype and Unreal 3 was so much better.

Good, not great. It's graphics were outstanding but lack of really any story and MP that's interesting yet gets boring sooner than you'd like. Gameplay wasn't truly as impressive as I figured as well, while yes I"m used to the slow moving characters but it's not realistic at all and dampens the experience a little.

I liked it. The campaign was pretty good with forgettable characters. But the online has been fun.

The Game is good especially with 32 players online but it gets boring pretty fast

I thinks its solid but not amazing, an ok game to play while I wait for something better. It kind of urks me that this game gets so much hype and Unreal 3 was so much better.

It's a great FPS IMO, although not enough for me to really love it... I guess I like it and that's it.

I love it its an awesome shooter that I'll be playing till the end of the year and longer. The warzone mode is genre redefining, I think of all the games that can be made better by having a constant change in game mode and how much more fun it is.

Graphics are great, gameplay is great, really with the exception of parties I don't have a real gripe about the game except noob tacticians and rocket noobs.

The game is an awesome FPS. I love it.

this should win shooter goty easily the graphics are the best on consoles

Its another pick up and play shooter lacking any depth and requires little skill. 7 at best imo. The single player is great though, just really short.

One of my favorite shooters this gen.

for ps3 i lovei t, but comparing it to timesplitters goldeneye or perfetdark i hate it,

I love the extensive use of blur. It makes the game feel so real, i mean before life threatening combat, i'd hit a bottle of scotch, wouldnt you?

SP is ok. Love the MP though. Play with better people.

Whenever I played the MP the players were going for the goal, but mowing down anyone in their way.

Its alright, i hate the art style though, with that insane engine they made though i think they could have done some much cooler stuff, i honestly get kinda bored with its look alot, theres like 0 variety

I hated it, beat the campaign and it was pretty good, but i never got into the online so i sold it a month after i got it. i just hate shooters, tired of the genre, kill it and lets hope it stays dead for decades. Although ill admit i might get modern warfare 2 since cod 4 is the only shooter other than orange box that i have liked alot. But after that put a nail in that coffin please.

i like it. think its the best game this gen on ps3 and 2nd best game overall from what ive played

Really? What i meant is that the only shooters i have enjoyed were the orange box and cod 4, those were released a few year back, since then i have tried other shooters (like killzone 2, halo 3, gears of war, resistance 2) and they're all pretty horrible, the single player in most of those games are horrible (killzone 2 was good enough for me to go through it once)

Honestly i bought it because of the hype on the graphics and everything else it was getting before it came out. Yeah the graphics are very good, so at least it lived up to the hype on that. And i said i might get mw2 because i liked the 1st one back in 2007, doesn't mean i wont hate it the second time around(in which case i will just sell it on amazon or ebay like i did on amazon and get most of my money back.

the game does have a story but if ur not into killzone then its hard to notice since the game does not do a good job with story

i have been a fan since killzone 1 so i know about the story and when 2 came out checked out their website to get update on the story

i like it. Never cared much to play it after I beat it, but that's been like that with every game this gen for me so no surprise.

I liked the single player a whole lot. Multiplayer is good but I'm not too keen on the control handling.
