I despise the leveling system. They give you two assault rifles to choose from at the beginning of the game, it's frickin' ridiculous. Total, there's what, 6 guns in the whole game? A sniper rifle, two assault rifles, a submachine gun, and a shotgun? And maybe a semi automatic rifle. If you like, add the two pistols and that adds the total to 8 guns, with two as only secondary weapons.... if you BUY the expansion pack, however, you can add two guns to that total, which are only available as pickups on certain maps. And that's AFTER the weeks of requisite grinding before they allow you the privilege of using the guns everyone else is using.Brownesque
But the two starting assault rifle's aren't bad at all. The ISA one for medium distance and the halghast one is almost as deadly as a shotgun close range with it's high rate of fire.
EDIT: By the way I loved it. But I kind of stopped playing after I reached general before the DLC came out. I still play it from time to time though. It's an amazing multiplayer experience, and the maps aren't symmetrical like most shooters.
I love it. I havent played it in a while, but every time i put it in, i get hooked for a few days....
almost every time ive played, most people are very aware of the current objective. there's, of course, still a lot of killing, but that's to simply defend/attack a position, except in the case of bodycount.
im guessing you got the 1% award so easily because you got the game before most people, so you had less competition
Well 18 was an exaggeration, but you started off saying you hated it, then it was pretty good. You sold it. And then said you hated shooters (which made me question why you bought it in the first place) and then you said you'd still get MW2 which is a FPS. All within 3 lines. Made me laugh.[QUOTE="navstar29"][QUOTE="bokiloki"]
Really? What i meant is that the only shooters i have enjoyed were the orange box and cod 4, those were released a few year back, since then i have tried other shooters (like killzone 2, halo 3, gears of war, resistance 2) and they're all pretty horrible, the single player in most of those games are horrible (killzone 2 was good enough for me to go through it once)

Honestly i bought it because of the hype on the graphics and everything else it was getting before it came out. Yeah the graphics are very good, so at least it lived up to the hype on that. And i said i might get mw2 because i liked the 1st one back in 2007, doesn't mean i wont hate it the second time around(in which case i will just sell it on amazon or ebay like i did on amazon and get most of my money back.
No its nothing against you dude, It was just funny as I kept reading you just kept contradicting the thing you said 3-4 words before. It was just a good laugh, but I understand where your coming from.I loved it. I don't play it much now, but i've been going back for trophies every so often (can't...beat...radec...on...elite...)
Anyways to answer your question I absolutely love it!
I've put in about 14 hours into the single player mode, getting trophies and what not....and I think I have about 65-70 hours into the multiplayer, at first it really didn't hook me until I started to gain rank and unlocked all the classes, now I can't stop playing it.
