Don't get me wrong, I have high hopes for this game, enough reason 4me to buy a PS3, imo. But I'm really really worried about that short window.

The thing is we still don't know the difficulty of the preview code, even in videos showing fears or stalkers ai they look dumb but when you actually play against them its a different story, specially with a higher difficulty. We know the ai on the bots in beta weren't the greatest but those weren't exactly jacked up either, more being put into test them with the netcode more then testing there ai intelligence.

Actually looking at videos for FEAR and STALKER the A.I looks great if you ask me...

I don't think you have to worry about the gameplay. The beta served a great purpose in tweaking an already well oiled and productive machine. The feature-set, options, mechanics, flair, and unique implementations make it worthy of AAA status.

Lol, what's with the criticism of the AI? Gears 2 AI looked downright terrible in videos before launch! But the game's pacing and settings play out to its benefits and is awesome. People said the same about R1 and it had great AI and was challenging, to the say the least.

Brand new pic. Best I've seen on KZ2, hands down. I always hated when people said this, but KZ2 is almost Crysis-like. And that CGI trailer that first showed...pretty much has been surpassed in almost every way.

lol Yes I have. I'm not saying it looks better than Crysis. I said it's almost Crysis-like. I also stated that KZ2 has surpassed the original target trailer from E3 '05 that GG hyped everyone up about. You hate way too much, man. I've seen you hating way too much for no reason. I understand this is System Wars, but it doesn't mean you have to make yourself like like a ______. (Fill in the blank. Have fun!)

i am now starting to appriciate the constant delays KZ2 had, seeing the latest vids from Beta version & this vid showing a new environment seems like GG put this extra development time to good use...

The game looks great, surely no console game comes close to what KZ2 offers visually and the locations are really atmospheric... also fanboys/haters might have noticed in this latest vid that there wasnt much grey in this location ;)

This gen has been great in the past couple of months i enjoyed so many great games (Geow2, R2, LBP, Fifa 09, Fable2, Socom etc etc) and next year already looks good with the likes of KZ2, RE5, Infamous, SFIV, WKC & Halo3: Recon....

It could be done on the 360. The textures and lighting are of the standard that they match what has been done before. What sets this game apart is the fluid animation, the effects such as the wind blowing the ground/dust, the motion-blur and the depth of field effects. All this comes together to form a very well polished FPS. But I don't see any reason why such things could not be achieved on the 360.

first i never saw dinamic lighting with that quality in any game on consoles.I don't know if the 360 can achieve the same graphics maybe it can but has yet to prove it but I have many doubts that it can make the large levels with that epic battles with so many things hapening on the screen like one video i have seen on ign from the new single-player videos they have updated today where they have so many enemies and allies and crazy lighting and so many explosions ships in the sky and so many particles and smoke from the explosions enemies on fire and for all of this is needed a lot of processor power that the cell can endure but I doubt that the 360 can do the same I think it can achieve the graphics but with lower levels not so many caracters on screen and with much less things happening at the same time which would affect the quality of the game but this is my opinion

m still not impressed by KZ2 graphics, the only thing from KZ2 that impressed me was the first CG trailer. Don't get me wrong the graphics look nice and atmospheric but imo this game will have no chance against Uncharted 2 graphics, i really dislike games with such a boring colour pallet, every level looks like it has just one colour and i prefer more natural environments, so far KZ2 has only cities and industrial stuff, most what you see are just walls i really hate this. skyform

The difference is GG is a first-party studio, staffed and funded by Sony. MS only threw money at SK lol. Also, Too Human was an unfocused project and always received poor previews and surrounded in controversy concerning Dennis Dyack.

Wow you completely missed the point. The point was that if MS would give someone 35-45million USD they could to the same as GG has done with KZ2 and the ps3, well they gave 50million to rockstar and got DLC :lol: and then you got Too Human which had been in the making for the past 10 years :lol:

Exactly. Their approaches are different. Sony definitely has the better in-house studios, and more. MS has: Turn 10, MSG Studio (what do they make?), they let Bungie go :|, the new Halo studio (Spawnpoint Studios?), they killed Ensemble/FASA :?, oh and Rare. Probably more, but I can't think of them.

Just... Wow. The desert environment looks absolutely incredible and the lighting is the best I've ever seen.

That's because M$ policy is fund 3rd party devs to make they're games, unlike Sony that has many in-house devs that share tech and experience between them. In fact, how many 1st party devs does M$ still have?

Exactly. Their approaches are different. Sony definitely has the better in-house studios, and more. MS has: Turn 10, MSG Studio (what do they make?), they let Bungie go :|, the new Halo studio (Spawnpoint Studios?), they killed Ensemble/FASA :?, oh and Rare. Probably more, but I can't think of them.

There's also Lionhead but that's pretty much it. Sony definately win when it comes to 1st party, they own over 20 developers.

m still not impressed by KZ2 graphics, the only thing from KZ2 that impressed me was the first CG trailer. Don't get me wrong the graphics look nice and atmospheric but imo this game will have no chance against Uncharted 2 graphics, i really dislike games with such a boring colour pallet, every level looks like it has just one colour and i prefer more natural environments, so far KZ2 has only cities and industrial stuff, most what you see are just walls i really hate this. skyform
Lower your expectations, dude...If you think Killzone 2 doesn't look impressive..than NO console game looks impressive. Your probably the ONLY non fanboy who doesn't think it looks good,or are you another hater in disquise? most likely.
